Out training in the woods around the little loch last weekend with the boys. We were having such a lovely time... and then this happened.

The problem with living with a high-energy working line dog with an intense prey drive is when they lock onto something that's all they think about.

To say my heart was in my mouth is an understatement... thankfully it was just a tummy scratch, no holes, lacerations, and p***s bone was intact - phew!

My heart was in my mouth when I saw Emrys land on the log and really thought he'd done himself some serious damage - either he saw it and positioned himself ...

Having so much fun putting retrieving drills together for Emrys with Dante.

Training each element with each dog individually before putting them together into a drill really can highlight not only how far Emrys has come on in his training…
But also what we need to pay a bit of attention to 😅🐾

Always a little hesitant as a puppy… Emrys is only like that now when trying new food (watch out for the kiwi fruit video) - he’s an absolute power house now 🥰

Had a couple of lovely little sessions this morning.

A bit of precision work indoors first thing and then on the field for a bit of dummy work.

Going back to straight lines across natural barriers and will be building up distance over the next couple of weeks 😁🐾
