This month on our Rescue Cat Series we have the adorable Rusty💜

Rusty is estimated to be 8-9 months old and is full of energy, despite having 3 broken legs. Rusty saw a surgical specialist who determined that Rusty’s legs are old injuries that have already attempted to heal themselves, and he is not a candidate for repair surgery or amputation (see second picture). He’s basically just a wonky kitty who may need gabapentin here and there if his pain flares up, but is not currently a daily need! *I have gabapentin that I can send him home with. His vet does not foresee surgery ever being a need for him.

As he gets older, it would be a good idea for him to get Solensia injections & be on a supplement like cosequin. He kind of runs around like a T-Rex and doesn’t let anything stop him! He is such a happy and sweet boy who loves people, cats, and dogs. He’s super playful and really loves having kitty friends. He LOVES belly rubs and purrs like crazy, it’s so precious 🥹 he does not really love to be held as it bothers his legs, however, he will for sure lay next to/with you and snuggle anytime!

He is neutered, has 2/3 FVRCP vaccinations (things were delayed because he was sick) & is rabies vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. He will need to be adopted into a home with another resident cat. Applications for adopters without other cats will not be considered at this time.
