Yoda cuddled up with my mom and napped on her shoulder. She is the most affectionate in this litter by a landslide - which is saying something because they're ALL affectionate! Turkish Angoras aren't known for being lap cats, but she's definitely one.

I didn't intend to wake them up for the photos! Koda, the dog, got excited that I was walking over to the front door, and he thought I was going to take him for a walk. His big paws made so much noise that it woke up the two kittens that were sleeping in front of the door. Poor guys look as rough as I do in the morning when I first wake up! 😆

Absolutely in love with these two kittens! They're such a playful pair, and their fur is so plush and soft, all I want to do is hold them all the time. 😆

I was certain they would both have amber eyes, but in these photos, Bonnie's eyes almost look like they might be turning green. 🧐 I wish there was a much more accurate way of determining non-blue eyes than what amounts to simply guessing. It may be best for me to say their eyes will be amber OR green so that no one is disappointed if I'm wrong.

I remember it took seven months for Grimm's eyes to finally change from the kitten color to green. I had gotten to the point that I was sure his eyes were going to stay gray forever! It's amazing how long it can take for their eyes to change when they aren't going to be blue.

This is Freya, one of the kittens from Malia's first litter. Freya is an odd-eyed white owned by Kristina B. She is absolutely stunning! I love seeing photos of my kittens all grown up, especially since it lets me see if a pairing worked out the way I hoped it would.

Malia was spayed earlier this year, so no more kittens will be available from her. However, I kept her daughter, Sapphire, who is expecting a litter next month. Sapphire is a blue-eyed white and had beautiful kittens in her first litter! I repeated the breeding with Pippin and hope to have the same quality kittens this time around. I even got to see one of her black females as an adult not too long ago, and except for her being a different color, she looked just like her mother. Sapphire and Pippin is a great pairing!

Ashira is definitely the class clown of our cat family! She never fails to bring a smile to my face with her quirky antics and endless curiosity.

I managed to confuse her by scratching my toes on the scratching post near the couch. She was so funny trying to check out what I was doing! She jumped from the top level of the cat tree to the bottom where the post was just so she could smack my foot and then use the post herself. 😆

Chromie, the proud mom of Bonnie and Clyde! 🐾 She's been busy keeping her kittens in line and teaching them all her tricks. They definitely inherited her playful spirit and love for mischief.

The other day, I caught her watching over Bonnie and Clyde as they attempted to "help" with the laundry. Let's just say, we had more socks scattered around the house than in the basket! 😹 Chromie looked so proud of their "helpful" efforts. Who needs order when you have cats creating their own kind of fun? 💕

Phoenix, my blue tabby Turkish Angora, found the perfect spot next to a sign that says, "I don't need therapy... I have a dog." She clearly has a different opinion! Who needs a dog when you have plenty of cats to keep you entertained and loved? 😸💕

Of course, Koda, my lovable dog, might have something to say about that! He thinks he's the real star of the show and often tries to join in on the cat antics. Between Phoenix's sass and Koda's goofy charm, there's never a dull moment around here! 🐾💖

I have a new feather toy that I bought specifically for taking photos of the cats. It gets their attention and gives me great poses that I can share with everyone here. 🙂 Here are Bonnie and Clyde looking adorable. I know the lighting in the room is probably not the best and makes them look more "pink" than they really are. It was almost midnight when I took these photos, and I had to work with the lighting that was available. I usually prefer natural sunlight whenever I can get it.

Is everyone else feeling the heat wave? How are you all surviving the summer? We're staying indoors with the A/C on high! 😂 It looks like the temps will cool off next week.

We were doing some yard work today. A lot of our plants and bushes are overgrown because of all the rain we've gotten this year, and a lot of it needed to be cleaned up. While taking care of all that, I noticed that my lilies were blooming and they looked so pretty. We decided to take Bonnie and Clyde out there and get some photos.

The weekend at my parents' house went very well! I took over 100 photos of the kittens. They were just too cute! Especially little Ave. She liked to lay in my arms while I was watching TV, and she'd drift off to sleep while holding my hand with her paws. They're all wonderful!

I think it's safe to say at this point that both Bonnie and Clyde will have amber or green eyes.

This quirky cat is Ashira, my favorite Turkish Angora (shhh, don't tell Grimm). Like Jasmine, she is a black smoke. She's almost a year old, and she is very playful and mischievous! She likes to climb on my windows and "sneak" her way into my bedroom (she knows cats aren't allowed and doesn't realize I actually let her in there—she gets all the extra privileges!).

With her round eyes, she always looks surprised. I tried so hard to get her to put her ears up for these photos, but as you can probably tell from her dilated pupils, she was very alert and swinging her ears in every direction while looking around wildly for the elusive red dot. 😆 I was going to pick one of these photos for my website, but I think I'll try again at a later date.

This is Jasmine, Chromie's sister, from the same litter. We just bred her, and her kittens are expected in mid-September. Her kittens will likely be black or black smoke. Jasmine is my mom's cat, so this litter will be raised by her.

I often get asked for photos of the parents, so I made sure to get a picture of Jasmine while she's here. I plan to take some more photos before she returns to my mom this upcoming weekend.

**Jessie's Litter**

Bonnie and Clyde are growing so fast! Bonnie’s ears are starting to stand up, and you can really see how long they are—she looks like a little white lynx! Her ears are perfect for the breed. I remember when my mom first saw "Yoda ears" on one of her black kittens. She worried the kitten wouldn’t find a home because of her "weird" ears. She adored that kitten and wanted to keep her. But I reassured her that "Yoda ears" are exactly what we want since they indicate nice, big ears. It’s similar to German Shepherd puppies: their ears are so big that the cartilage takes time to support them, and it’s the same with Turkish Angora kittens. By the way, "Yoda ears" isn’t an official term—it's a name my mom came up with after her second litter!

Bonnie is such a character! She gets so excited to see someone enter the room that she bounds over and wraps her paws around their leg as best she can, practically begging to be picked up. Today, as I held her, she kept touching my face with her paw and looking at me inquisitively. She’s very brave! When I first used a vacuum around them, both she and her brother were startled, but Bonnie quickly came over to investigate. She even wanted to ride around on the vacuum!

Clyde is more laid-back. He likes to sit and observe everything around him. He plays with his sister, letting her win their wrestling matches. He enjoys being held—except when I’m trying to take his photo, then he yells at me to put him down. 😂

I believe Bonnie will have blue eyes, though it could still go either way. She might even be odd-eyed, but I’ll know for sure in a week or two. Clyde might have amber or green eyes, but it’s still too early to tell. I try to predict anyway because I know people are eager to find out.

Both Bonnie and Clyde are still available, as I’ve been focusing on finding homes for my mom’s kittens, who are a month older. There’s also a black female from my mom’s litter still available. I’ll have updated photos of her litter next weekend when I visit. Malia is my daughter's cat (by that I mean Malia chose my daughter as her person, and we just go along with it). She was one of my foundation queens, but she was recently spayed. She is now a spoiled cat in her retirement. We had a small box with a baby blanket set up on our dinner table for her because she likes that spot, and my daughter decided to buy her a plush cat bed. It's safe to say she is a fan of the new bed!

I know some people are grossed out about cats on the counters or table. Other than my dad, we are definitely not one of those families that care. We clean surfaces before we cook or eat, though we very rarely use our dinner table for eating. It's more of a catch-all surface and napping place for Malia. 😂

My attention is divided between work, playing World of Warcraft, watching YouTube, and trying to edit photos, and Grimm is over here pawing at me repeatedly for the past 15 minutes because he wants attention, but a couple minutes of petting just isn't enough. 😂 He's so adorable with the way he puts his paw on my shoulder to try and get my attention again. 🥰

**Jessie's litter**

New photos of Bonnie and Clyde! I had some trouble getting my camera to focus on Bonnie, for some reason, but I hope you enjoy them anyway. I've also included a photo of their mother, who was just beside herself with worry because we took her kittens to do photos. 😂

Bonnie's little "Yoda ears" are exactly what we want to see at this age! It means she will have nice big ears, which is ideal.

I spoke with my mom earlier today, and she's going to send me new photos of Angel's kittens either tonight or tomorrow, so I will have those to share soon. I will also be visiting her at the end of the month, and I will take a bunch of photos then as well.

At this time, Bonnie might be pending but Clyde is still available. They are still too young to know their eye colors.

Thank you, Julia Osika! She won the name contest for the two white kittens in Betty's litter. They are now Ave and Felix! This was decided through a random number generator, and her number was picked.

These two photos were taken today of Bonnie and Clyde. I know it's been less than a week and they haven't changed much since the other day, but I took new photos to share with someone and thought I'd post them here too. My son likes to come into my living room a couple times a day to play with them. Chromie gets jealous of her kittens and likes to make sure that she gets attention too. It's funny watching her try to get my son to pay attention her!

**Betty's litter**

Move over, white fluffballs! There's a new character in our cat tree comedy, and she's... well, not exactly blending in!

Our little black beauty has found her favorite perch in the cat tree, standing out like a charming ink blot on a pale canvas. Subtlety? Never heard of her!

Is she wondering why everyone can see her so easily when she feels so sneaky?

Her "stealth mode" might need some work, but her cuteness levels are off the charts!

Peek-a-boo, what's new?

These two fluffballs are at it again! Boy and Girl Kitten (names still pending - any suggestions?) have turned their cat tree into a top-secret surveillance tower. Their mission? Spying on Mom's every move!

Little do they know, she's onto their not-so-stealthy operation. Those big blue eyes and tiny white paws aren't exactly master of disguise material!

**Jessie's litter**

Say hello to Chromie's bundles of joy—two fluffy white kittens, one boy (Clyde) and one girl (Bonnie)! Their eyes have just opened, and they're already starting to explore their tiny world.

We're eager to watch them grow, learn, and maybe even perfect their pouncing skills. Chromie is doing an excellent job as a proud mama, and we can't wait to share more about them!

We've decided to name Chromie's kittens Bonnie and Clyde simply because I keep thinking of them like that every time I walk past.

Marlon is the other black male. We had to wake him to take a video. Just like his siblings, he's very playful and curious. He's the other kitten still looking for a home. Update: Marlon has found a home.

Yoda is the only girl in this litter. She is such a sweetheart!

Mickey is an 8 week old male. He has a great personality! He's one of the two kittens looking for a home.

"Mom fixed my favorite little ball on this scratching post, but something's not right. I'm not able to pull it apart anymore, and that was the best part! She used something called a glue gun. I need to find whatever that is and hide it so she doesn't 'fix' my other toys. She also put down this puppy pad for my older doggy brother, Romeo. Apparently, he hasn't learned to use the litter box after 17 years. Maybe I can give him some pointers." - Grimm

Favorite toy

This has always been the kittens' favorite toy. I just pulled it out again for Grimm. It's important to cycle their toys just like you do with children. They grow bored of them, but after not seeing them for a while, it's like getting a brand new toy.

The cats got a new toy today. Aiyana and Malia had a blast playing with it but quickly tuckered out after five minutes.

All the cats love this blanket, especially Aiyana. (Don't mind the mess; my bed is a catch-all for art supplies)
