🌟 A New Chapter 🌟
As the new year approaches, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close my dog training business to focus on an exciting new venture: building my art studio, a space designed to nurture creativity, mental wellbeing, and eco-health.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of people and their dogs—watching nervous puppies grow into confident companions and seeing people find their strength and patience through our work together. I’ve been a behaviourist/trainer, a therapist, a cheerleader, and sometimes just a shoulder to cry on. Each moment has shaped who I am today so I must thank you all for everything you have taught me.
Together, we’ve celebrated milestones:
✨ Winning an award for the work I’m so passionate about
📖 Publishing a book that reached and inspired so many
🐾 Supporting countless dogs and owners through training and personal growth
This year, I embarked on a personal health journey and discovered a lot about myself—including embracing my neurodivergence as a strength. Through this process, I realized just how much creativity has been a lifeline for me. Art has helped me find focus, joy, and connection.
Now, I want to share that with others.
My new studio will be more than a place to create art; it will be a haven for self-expression, community, and mental wellness and all your doggies will be welcome too. I’ll be using my experiences to help others unlock their creativity and discover how creativity can improve their wellbeing.
This isn’t goodbye—it’s a celebration of everything we’ve built together and a step forward into a new mission: to help people connect, heal, and grow even more. ❤️🥰
Thank you for being part of my journey so far. I hope you’ll join me in this next chapter over at JJBarrsArt
With love and gratitude,
Jessica
