Kittens are 1 week old! We have 2 boys and 1 girl! They’ve all doubled in size! Nala is a great Mother!

Unfortunately, we lost our brown classic tabbie to pneumonia last week. This loss was a hard one.

We said farewell to our first ever Maine C**n and sire today. Boyd is on his way to Idaho, where he will have many, many queens to keep him company at Mermazing Maine C***s! We are so excited for him to be in their program and cannot wait to see his future kittens!! 😍

This is NOT the end of Catnip C***s, but only a new beginning. Let me elaborate... During our time at the Schaumburg TICA show last November, I sought out a local mentor to guide me as a new breeder in the show world. I met so many amazing people there and inevitably reached out to Liz from Chemicoons. She has an amazing reputation and I’m happy to say, accepted the challenge. She has helped me every step of the way and to reshape my future cattery, which includes moving away from the polydactyl gene.

We are thrilled for this opportunity to partner with Dana from Mermazing! We are confident that Boyd is going to love it there. And this was an answer to our prayers! Dana came to us just at the right moment. We love Boyd so much! We did not take this decision lightly, but we are confident it is a step in the right direction.

Praise God, our queen, Nala, delivered her kittens today! We had 4 healthy and unfortunately, 1 stillborn. This must’ve been the reasoning behind the question mark on the xray. This little one just didn’t fully develop. It looks to be, that we have a tuxedo kitten, tortie, red and silver!! We are so excited to share more in the coming days, but for now, we rest!

I had a sweet visit at Nora and Smudge’s (previously Rosemary and Poppy) new home today! I can’t believe how they’ve grown in such a short time and they are so LOVED! What a blessing! Thank you for having me!

Kittens had their first car ride and appointment with the Veterinary Village! They confirmed that they’re absolutely all girls and they have extra toes! Hehe
