Daisy, Willow, Nova and the pup made a new friend today. Everyone meet Bear from Cariboo Aussies in BC. This handsome boy had such a charismatic friendly personality that even territorial Daisy and slightly neurotic Willow were both acting like they had just met a celebrity. lol they instantly turned into groupies as if they have always known him lol
Aussie play can sound or look aggressive even when it is not. Pay close attention to your own job. Learn their body language, and cues well also educating yourself on what to look for when mine play. It is not uncommon to hear growling barking, snarling, see teeth, bard, and biting and lunging but when I also see, hopping back back-and-forth in the bow position, ears and tails up and loose flopping back-and-forth, relaxed bodies with mouths open, and eye contact with no yawning, I know they are just playing and ruff housing. Then there are also times where they play sweet and gentle. It is important to understand and learn how you dog acts and communicates.

She used to be terrified of this park. Like could not even enter it with her acting like the air was electrocuting her. Thank you Obedience Unleashed in mission. Note the dog in the back ground, and she notices but is not worried. :D Willow was struggling with low confidence and being easily reactive to dog, people and new places and I had tried all the basic stuff. After a month of love and specific training with the wonderful trainers she is 1000% calmer and more receptive to instruction at home. We will definitely be working to maintain her new found confidence.
