Well after a successful day at Paignton Championship show with the boys picking up a couple of firsts & Reserve Best Dog, the show bag is being hung up for a few months as we focus on the anticipated arrival of Quinn (Valaller Rainchild) & Creasy (Valaller The Photographer) puppies ❤️
Quinn is doing well & coping with the warm summer days by sprawling out in the cool & shady spaces whilst the others take it in turns to check up on her & wash her face for her! 🤣

Just a little longer to wait…. 🌸

An amazing day for Valaller Swedish Vallhunds at Bath Canine Society Championship Dog Show today!

1st in Junior Dog for Valaller The Photographer (Creasy)

2nd in Limit Dog to Imogen & Valaller No Edit Required (Floki) So lovely to see them both again ❤️ Well done for getting to the show having just come off a night shift! 👍

Then all 3 girls in Junior B*tch were Creasy’s litter sisters - Valaller Strike A Pose ( Rhu) with Kate won the class, followed by Alessia & Valaller Paparazzi (Flori) & Txell & Valaller Copyright (Noomi) Despite having left their beautiful fur coats at home they all gave a good account of themselves! So lovely to be able to introduce new owners to the show ring 👌

Valaller Rainmaker (Skye) & Kate did a super job in winning Open B*tch 👌Sitting on 2 tickets now & nail-bitingly close to winning her title! She won the RBCC today ⭐️

But our star of the day was Valaller In Focus (Nukka) who bounced in & won Limit B*tch & followed that up with winning the BCC & Best of Breed! 👌Such a happy girl & a natural show off she is a real delight to show 🌸

A fairytale journey for Steve & Vicky who have been persuaded (nagged!) into bringing this beautiful girl out to play just 4 times at KC registered shows & watching her initially win the RBCC at the SVS champ show followed by the BCC at LKA 2023, Crufts 2024 & picking up her crowning ticket today! A very proud breeder day indeed to make up our first homebred UK CHAMPION!! ❤️

It’s fair to say I floated home to Valaller Towers this evening 😉

Congratulations to all the winners & as always, lovely to catch up with friends 😃

Crufts 2024 was a busy one for the Valaller Swedish Vallhunds! (So much so that I didn’t take a single photograph! 🤣)

Valaller The Photographer (Creasy) stood alone in Junior Dog but I was delighted with how well he strode out across the famous green carpet to bring home a red rosette.

Both DK/DE/ INT CH Valaller Rule of Thirds (Zeiss) & Danga’s Lukas Jollyson of Valaller (Imp SWE)(Luka) gave excellent accounts of themselves in Open Dog.

It is always fun showing our beautiful Pepperthyme On A Rainbow (Rain) who just adores the opportunity to show off & although we knew she wouldn’t appeal to our last-minute change of judge, I couldn’t deny her her day out! She was rewarded with the green card in her Veteran B*tch class, but was much more impressed with the culinary treats she received for standing still for 3 seconds! 🤣

So very proud of Txell Fernández & Valaller Copyright (Noomi) who picked up the blue rosette in Junior B*tch class. And of course, Alessia Longhi with Valaller Paparazzi who after just a few weeks together showed real teamwork as they floated round the ring together 🌸 Well done girls! 👌

Very proud too of Valaller Rainmaker (Skye) who, guided by Kate Biss, powered her way to taking the blue rosette in Open B*tch 👍

Our star of the day was Vicky Warren & Steve Warren’s beautiful Valaller In Focus (Nukka) who arrived on the show scene a little later than most but in the 3 KC-registered shows she has attended she has picked up the RCC (SVS CH show Sept 2023), CC (LKA Dec 2023) & at Crufts 2024 she won the Limit B*tch class before going on to win the CC & Best Opposite S*x! An absolute delight to show & I’m so proud of her! ❤️ Excited to see what the future holds for her! 🤞

It was lovely to have Angelika’s company again & look forward to seeing her again in the autumn. Thank you Jan for being her navigator - even if you did find parts of Somerset most people don’t know exist! 🙈🤣

Crufts is always a busy, noisy show & tbh, one of my least favourite shows, but as the most prestigious show for the dog world we do all tend to be drawn back to it each year! Sadly I never had the chance to speak to half the people I wanted to & most conversations were snatched moments in between classes 🙈

Frustrated too, to have missed the pre-booked (& paid for!) eye tests for the boys due to judging timing. I hope the KC spend my donation wisely! 🙈

A fabulous day for Valaller Swedish Vallhunds again at Ilfracombe & District Open show.

Creasy (Valaller The Photographer) at just 11 months won Post Graduate class with his sister Kate Biss’s Rhu (Valaller Strike A Pose) coming 2nd 🌟

Open class was won by Kate’s Skye (Valaller Rainmaker) with Luka (Danga’s Lukas Jollyson of Valaller) coming 2nd 🌟

Creasy then topped it off by winning his first Best of Breed as well as Best Puppy in Breed🌟 ❤️🌟

Our breed judge was Bethan Williams (Trebettyn)

But even more exciting for me was Creasy taking first place in a class of over 30 puppies in a huge stakes class!!! Absolutely delighted with this win under judge Matt Garnham (Carmeltcho) 🌟

Dinner was on Creasy tonight after he bagged £30 for his stakes win - & of course he was treated to some fresh chicken on his dinner tonight too! ❤️
