🐮 Did you know that 81% of UK cattle farms have experienced scour on their units, and that Scour & BRD are the main causes of calf mortality?
Shockingly, 50% of those farms have experienced calf mortality due to scour. It's crucial to protect your farm from these issues to ensure the health and well-being of your livestock.
Here are some tips to protect your farm from scour:
• Proper hygiene and sanitation
• Vaccination and preventive measures: Work with your Vet to create a vaccination and preventive health plan to protect your calves from common illnesses that lead to scour.
• Nutrition and feeding management
• Monitoring and early detection
Remember, a healthy farm leads to healthy animals and ultimately a thriving business! 🌾🐄
