***Pending adoption! That was quick! 🎉
Meet Bay! This SWEET boy came all the way from Roatan, one of the Bay islands in Honduras. Yes that's right Honduras!!! We are so thrilled to be able to help another rescue Flight Angels of Roatan who work so hard to provide a future for their island kitties.
When I tell you this boy is sweet, that's an understatement! He spends his days loving on all the cats in his foster home and at night sleeps curled up on his foster mom's neck. I instantly fell in love when I met him. Both his foster mom and I are sad that we don't have room to adopt him! He follows his foster family around all day, loves playing and being held. If you are looking for a velcro kitty he's your boy. 💗
He has two dogs at his foster home and even though he hadn't previously met a dog he's making great progress.
Bay is approximately 5 months old, vaccinated, neutered, fiv/felv tested negative and microchipped.

Say hi to Erin & Erika!
They are two very active teens who love to play and then purr up a storm on your lap. They prefer to interact with people who are sitting, they can be a little shy with a lot of activity around. They love being petted and brushed and just need time to adjust to new people. They are perfect with their litter box and not fussy eaters. They are a bit unsure but intrigued by dogs and other cats. I think they would adjust over time. They are bonded because they were abandoned together at a park as young kittens. They are spayed and have always been very healthy despite their early neglect. We prefer to try to find a home for them together. They have been in foster care for a while with no interest 😕.

Meet Onyx! He's a tiny little 8 week old bottle baby kitten and he's all ready for a home!
He is VERY dog and cat friendly and a complete snuggle bug!
And he's so handsome on top of all that!!! He has gorgeous medium length fur.
He's located in Canal Wi******er. Neutered, microchipped, fiv/felv tested negative, and vaccines started.

This gorgeous girl is Adele! She has been living outside someone's house for about a year now and thankfully a foster stepped up to take her in. She has acclimated so well to the cats and large dog in the home and is a complete love bug with people! She's one of those cats that is instantly your friend.
She's approximately 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, fiv/felv tested negative and microchipped.

Meet Birdie 🐦 and Hickory 🍂 !
These two babies are as sweet as could be! They are very gentle, loving kittens!
Birdie is a bit more outgoing and Hickory is a little more reserved but both absolutely crave attention and love to be loved on!
They are approximately 12 weeks old, Birdie is spayed and Hickory is neutered. Both were fiv/felv tested negative, microchipped, vaccines started and flea prevention given.
They are fostered with me in Utica (45 minutes NE of Columbus). I'm happy to meet within 30 minutes of Utica.

Hey— hey you. Yeah, hi… I’m Penelope. Do you remember what it was like living with a lot of other people? Like maybe in college or when you were young. Well, I lived with 20 other cats. It was a lot. Like more than a lot.

So like, I like other cats… but have you tried sharing a litter box with with 20 housemates?! Madness. Another cat friend — cool. But more than 4… maybe not.

So here’s the deal. Those cats got on my 9th nerve. But I am trying to be chill about things. These ladies at ROCK have promised me, if I try and be cool, there are certainly some people out there, who would love to welcome me into their home, feed me, help me learn to relax— no more worrying that some cat would steal my spot in the sun, take my breakfast, and randomly pick a fight.

These ladies also said that these wonderful people would let me warm up slowly, would not pick me up with no warning, and give me treats. I do like people, I’m just ya know, kinda feeling out this calmer, more laid back life.

They also told me that I would have toys all my own— especially the plastic springs… man those are the best. I’d love one in every color. I also like the crunchy treats. I like pets and I think I’d love a spot on the couch all my own. Do what do you say… I’ll let you pick the shows, you can have a beverage and we can hang out and chill! I’m ready… how about you?

Elsa was spayed today and her brother Smoot is also all ready to go 🥰. Who wouldn't want these little faces looking up at you with all that love!
They are approximately 10 weeks old (Elsa is a tiny 2.5 pound baby), vaccines started, fiv/felv tested negative & microchipped.

I want to start by saying we can not thank our supporters enough. Every penny of your donations mean the world to us. You keep us going so we can do the work that we do. Every year we help well over 500 cats and that isn't possible without each of you.
Once or twice a year we get hit with too many vet bills at once to keep going. We are at that point. It feels like a complete fail but we honestly do our very best every day. We have enough to cover our next 2 rounds of spays and neuters and that is all. We've helped sick kittens who needed multiple visits, an adult stray with skin issues, a kitten hit by a car, as well as high expenses trying to save two kittens who just weren't able to pull through. Those expenses on top of our spays and neuters and TNR just hit all at once. If we can raise $2,000 we will be up and running! I know it's a lot but even if all of you gave $1 we would be covered!!! No amount is too small to make a difference! Please consider sharing! Thank you 🩷

We have 4 of the most darling little girls looking for homes! They are super sweet, cuddly, outgoing and dog & cat friendly! They would be a great addition to any home!
3 of the girls will be ready to go home this weekend & Stasha will be ready the following weekend. They are approximately 11-12 weeks old but petite little things (the size of 8 week olds).

Do we have any friends in Zanesville willing to help with adoptions at the Chatty Cat Cafe? We need someone able to go to the cafe, get the adopted cats paperwork, help get cat into carrier and do an adoption photo. Time/day is whatever works for you and adopter during cafe hours. This would be once a week to once every few weeks just depending on who gets adopted. We have one wonderful volunteer helping but we would love to find a second person so she doesn't have to go every time.

We love updates. They keep us going on the tough days. Chirp (now Stormy) was one of my fosters and I knew exactly what she needed in a family to be happy. I was SO thankful she found the most amazing home with a repeat adopter! Here is her before photo. She was found alone outside and was miserable. She's now thriving with her dog, cat and rabbit siblings as well as her human family! She's loving the attention from the kids! Makes my heart happy!

I know this is a bit sideways, we are trying our best over here 🤣. Meet Laurel!
I love all our cats but this girl has something special. Just the sweetest, most gentle soul you could meet!!!!
She was found outside but then taken in by someone who couldn't provide proper care for her. She has nothing but love to give despite a rough start to life. She's doing fabulous with the fosters dogs and cats and is soooo loving!
She would love a quieter home that matches her peaceful personality.
She's approximately 2, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and fiv/felv tested negative.

I'm sure most of us cat lovers know about orange cats... yanno, how maybe some of them only use 1 of their brain cells... Meet Big Jeff. He's the exception. Uses at least 3 brain cells at all times.
