Our bunnies from Centennial Park Rabbit Retreat were fortunate enough to be on the TODAY show teaching audiences that rabbits are not impulse pets and need lots of care and love!

Rabbits are amazing animals who are curious and social pets. They can be extremely rewarding if given the right environment and enrichment 🐰
Unfortunately, they are one of the most misunderstood animals and they are often neglected because of it.
Some statistics show as many as 40% of rabbits are surrendered within the first year of being owned.

If you’re looking for something like that packaged in big ears and a fluffy tail, enquire about adopting or fostering one of our rabbits!

Our final of four rabbits joining us tomorrow - Winnie.
Winnie is a gorgeous tri-coloured mini lop. She is curious and adventurous, and isn’t afraid to steal your bed for a nap! She loves outdoor time in the garden but is also house trained and toilet trained. She may be a bit shy to start, but with a loving family she would warm up in no time!

Our third wonderful rabbit joining us this Saturday is Cara.
Cara is a gorgeous 8 month old cross breed rabbit who loves to explore and lounge around. She is very friendly and curious, and loves a head scratch.

We're counting down to our Rabbit Adoption Day at PetO Eastgardens on Saturday, June 14 from 10am–3:30pm!

Come meet some of the adorable bunnies in our care, learn about rabbit welfare, and maybe even meet your new best friend!

📣 We have an exciting announcement! 📣
Centennial Park Rabbit Retreat is partnering with PetO Eastgardens for an in person rabbit adoption day! We are thrilled to join their initiative to have 1000 pets adopted in June.

If you’re interested in coming along to say hi, learning about proper rabbit care or finding a new furry friend for your family, come and join!

Please note adopters will still need to fill in the necessary forms and paperwork to adopt. If you want to take home your new bunny on the day, please email us or DM so we can pre-approve your adoption!

Officially introducing Cara… she is such a special girl we decided she needed her own shout out post!
Cara is a 6 month old mixed breed bunny who absolutely loves people and pats 💜 She is charismatic, sociable and loves to explore, and hops right on over to say hi.
You may have noticed from the photos that Cara has a bit of a leaky eye. We have had it worked up by the vet and it’s just a case of having a tear duct that doesn’t quite work. Unfortunately for her there is only one cure… another bunny to give her lots of kisses and keep her eye clean! If you think you can have the perfect cure for Cara, please send us an email. She would of course do just as well with a dedicated human friend to wipe her eye every couple of days.
Please share so Cara can find her forever home! She deserves it! 🐰🎉

It’s less than 10 days till Christmas and these gorgeous boys are still waiting for someone to take them home! We are reaching out to all of you to please consider adopting them if you are looking for a new companion or passing this on to anyone who might be interested.
They are the sweetest, most relaxed and docile boys around and they are not quite sure they have been swept aside every time 🥺
