Happy Independence Day y’all! 🇺🇸🧨

We’re usually fans of including your dogs in everything you do, but not on the 4th. While we love fireworks, it’s a different and terrifying experience for your dog. More dogs go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year.

We’ve been seeing lots of tips from the good, to the ridiculous on keeping your dogs safe today. You do not need to “write your name and phone number on your dogs belly in case they are lost.” Let’s be smart and keep them safe and secure so that we don’t need to rely on tracking devices or belly notes to get them back.

What we WILL do with all of our dogs this evening:

✅ Keep them comfortably crated with their favorite treats.
✅ Place crates in an interior room with no windows and good sound insulation.
✅ Cover the crates with blankets
✅ Turn on music or other background noise
