Puppy Chilly! Well not really but it was the youngest Chilly we know when we fostered her back in 2010. We took her to all kinds of rescue/adoption events then, here's a clip of her appearence on our local TV station KOFY. She was about 8 years old here. She eventually told us she wasn't leaving so we adopted her. #throwbackthursday

When Chilly got arthritis while at the shelter, volunteers were instructed to stop playing fetch with her. Chilly loves fetching her balls so this made her very sad. After we fostered her, Guinness taught her how to swim and suddenly she could play fetch as much as she wanted again, in water! It's much easier on her legs, a lot of fun and a great exercise. Here's a video of the dogs swimming and fetching.
Yay Chilly passed her test and got her Canine Good Citizen certification! Here she's playing her all-time favorite game. Go Chilly! <3

Chilly's TV Appearance
Here's our girl Chilly Chalupa on our local dog-loving television station KOFY TV20-Cable 13, filmed recently at Bay to Barkers, an annual fundraiser for the Berkeley Humane Society. Chilly and I will be supporting our friends at the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society again this Saturday in Dogtoberfest at the Golden Gate Fields in Albany, CA.
