Some more little fun obedience thrown in on our walkies this morning 🖤

My 6km round hiking trip with 19mth old Bindi this morning exploring the bush, zoomies, sniffing and throwing in some obedience. Bindi is getting used to the different whistle calls (one long whistle means stop right where you are - right behind a bush 🤣 and 2 whistles to come) and she has nailed it! We had some cheeky fails but we had so much fun!! 🤣 Love this ball of energy fur kid! Brings me so much joy working with my girls and building such a strong bond with all of them. Mum and her 2 sisters got to have a rest day today but will each have there turn of exploring our new found hiking tracks. Have a fantastic weekend to all our lab families 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Happy 4th Birthday to our Lottie!! We are all wishing Lotties sisters Kyah, Cookie and Thelma a fantastic day celebrating their birthday too🥳 Can't believe it's been 4 years, but as ever Lottie has been the sweet protective big sister to Jorgie and Bindi. She is a bit of a mummy's girl (Bonnie that is) and she loves to come and stay for a few days each week to stir up the house hold 🤣 Have a fantastic day girls spending however your Sunday bring's you with your loving families 🖤🎂🥳

Bindi enjoyed her "Real Life" training today with Progressive Canine Training Weather was great for the most part - until the rain came and true typical lab style Bindi was happy taking her time walking back in the rain 🤣 We didnt get much photos towards the end as the rain was taking over. We can't highly reccomend Sarah Hotter enough as our trainer. We are so happy with the time she takes with us as both dog and handler and we look forward to many more opportunities with Progressive Canine Training.

Fantastic day today catching up with one of our pups from Bonnie, the sweet cheeky girl Bronti (and Jorgies sister) and her lovely family. We also had fellow labrador friend Sarah Jane lead the way to our destination with her crew too. Always a pleasure to still be apart of our pups and their families. Many thanks for the AMAZING burger Russell Julianne🤗 Bonnie, Jorgie and Bindi are all fast asleep and we look forward to doing it again 🖤🖤🖤🖤

4 weeks of Obedience 2 with Progressive Canine Training and Bindi has enjoyed every class and got her certificate of acheivement today. We are currently enrolled in the follow on class 'Real World Obedience' and are forever grateful for the best way of learning skills with Sarah Hotter

We are honoured to be apart of this group for Progressive Canine Training - well done to Sarah Hotter for such a great day and having such a caring and respect for our individual dog/handler needs. Such a pleasure to receive updates and photos of our pups and their families! This is 14mth old Daisy and is Bindi's sister. She was an absolute treasure (and little fire cracker) when she was a pup and to this day still a beautiful girl. Daisy is the only yellow daughter from Bonnie and holds a special place in our hearts as does each and everyone of Bonnies babies. Thankyou to Daisy's family for the photo and updates 💛🖤

Well last week was an eventful week here in the land of black labs! Bindi was set upon by a Mastiff X on our daily early morning walks and luckily she ended up with only a few facial wounds. Jorgie her sister stepped up and with little Raptor Bindi, the sisters turned the table and started to attack back until this dog backed off and ran away. Jorgie is the very shy, timid girl but her love and devotion for her sister Bindi, she amazed me and the sisters worked together to protect each other and me. Such a horrible experience for Bindi and Jorgie to go through and myself when people dont control their dogs.Then over the weekend there was a big fire and we were told to get ready to evacuate! We are all looking forward to seeing what this week will bring - hopefully fun and exploring and snoring!!!! 🖤

Happy 1st Birthday Bindi and to all her brothers and sisters!! We can't believe it's been a year already! Bindi is the s***k of our family - a good girl and a rebel and we wouldn't want her any other way. She was the second last born, and the last Daughter of Bonnie ever, and although being the "runt" of the litter she has grown into a big beautiful girl (taller then her sisters and mum now 🤣) Enjoy your special day Bindi, Lexie, Pippa, Zues, Bentley, Lainey, Sonny and Daisy!! 🖤🎂

A big Happy 2nd Birthday to my Jorgie!!! We wish all of Jorgies sisters and Brother a fantastic day celebrating. Jorgie girl, your an absolute treasure in our family. Your kind and soft gentle side is a true blessing and the love and kindness you show with all your sisters and brothers is amazing. You are my true assistant dog helping me with all those dog assessments for SAFE - the temperament and obedience you show is far beyond words and Im glad we have that strong special bond. Your baby sister Bindi is in absolute awe of you and watching how you handle her is so sweet. 2 years since you have left a hole in our hearts. Never a day goes by Sam boy we don't think of you. Each year that passes is getting easier to celebrate you and your new life but Sam, we are still struggling on so many days with out you. We are so proud of being able to know we have given you so much love and kindness that you went peacefully to sleep just knowing this. One day we will here those big yellow paws come running towards us. Until then, see you soon old yellow boy. 💛

Today 9mth old Bindi got her first Rosette!!! She had been good all term at obedience and took out First place with a 94/100 score. Although she has no idea or been fazed with all the cuddles and kisses she's been getting, its a push to go further for me with her into the direction of possibilities. A massive well done to Sarah Jane and our Miss Beckett for a top 3rd place effort!! Both girls did really well 🖤💛

*Bonnie update*
Our sweet Bon Bon is still weak and needs frequent rests but her tail hasn't lost its wag!! She's certainly made me work round the clock 24/7 to get her where she is atm. Bonnie got a reprive from the dreaded donut ring this morning and Bindi made good use of showing us what she thinks of it 🤣 It's just so amazing how much dogs show love and caring when one of their pack members are down

Longest 24 hours of my life...my best friend, my rock and companion, Bonnie, was close to seeing the Rainbow bridge last night. What was booked in as a everyday procedure (spaying) yesterday, turned into a traumatic experience for both her and myself. I was so glad I didn't get hubby to pick her up earlier as she crashed down hill very quickly when I arrived after 5pm at my vets to collect her. She was once again put under for an emergency operation resulting in a much bigger cut and an emergency blood transfusion and a lot of oxygen, drugs and tests. She needed more blood but we could only use so much from the donor but she was showing signs of stability enough I finally got to bring her home late this afternoon. I am so bloody grateful for my Vet who stayed by her side all night and being there for her today too. As she is currently stable, we have a very long road to recovery both from the operation and the extensive loss of blood, but being home is the best place for this to happen. Her daughters, Lottie, Jorgie and Baby Bindi are all by her side showing so much gentleness and love and it's the best medicine for both Bonnie and me right now. To all of Bonnies Sons and Daughters out there, your mumma is such a strong mum and we give you all our love and kisses 🥰🖤

Perfect weather for a little training and fun with a one on one with 19mth old Jorgie. We had a new location with distractions with cars, people on bikes or walking along with other dogs and smells on the lawn. 🥰
