As I'm cutting flowers in the early morning, I fall into looking at them with a critical eye. Are they good for a boquet? Too big, too small, too short, the bugs got that one, too open, not open enough, to crooked... on it goes. Then I look down in my hand, with all these flowers that are "too something", convinced I'll have nothing to sell. Except, they are drop dead gorgeous, and fit perfectly together. It reminded me of Sara Sery, and what she says about being a "good mom". Being a "good mom" is a moving target, and only achievable if you are perfect, which none of us are. Today, I'm a kind mom, a thoughtful mom, a beautiful mom, a laughing mom. What mom characteristic are you today?
