Hey folks! We will be at Wright's Natural Market this Sunday, May 26, for the final market day of the season. We have loads of pasture-raised eggs, kefir, goat milk, fresh and aged cheeses (including feta, cheddar, farmhouse, and queso fresco), and some end of season ferments available.
Can't make it? No worries! You have the chance to pre-order on the website and pick up from the farm over the summer, so you don't miss out on our awesome farm offerings. Speaking of which, after talking with so many of you, we have decided to offer pick up every other Sunday throughout the summer, at least until the market reopens in October.

Hey folks! We are currently experiencing a power outage on the farm. The dairy is nice and cold thanks to our generator, but we're running behind on morning chores. If you pre-ordered for pick-up today, I kindly ask that you either stop by after noon or coordinate another time with me. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Hey everyone! I wanted to let you all know that the online shop is now open and ready for orders! Thank you all so much for your support and your patience with me as I tackled this technological feat, lol. If you go to Member Shop on the website, which is linked on my homepage here, you can access the shop and order for the next pick-up day, which is Saturday, May 11 from 10am-12pm. Be sure to get your order in by the evening of Friday, May 10.
Going forward, I will finish up the last Wright's Natural Market of the season on May 26 and then order pick-ups will be on the farm until that market opens again in October.

Hey folks! Pioneer Roots Farm will be in the kitchen this week preparing for the Loquat Festival this Saturday, so I won't be at the market tomorrow. However, come down to Sims Park this Saturday, April 6th, to say hello and try our scorching sweet hot sauce and loquat barbecue sauce!

Hey folks! Pioneer Roots Farm will not be at the Tasty Tuesday market tomorrow, as I am swamped with meetings and gardening/harvesting. So sorry to disappoint!
If you are free on Sunday, I will be helping Wright's Natural Market celebrate their 30th anniversary at their market on Main Street, so be sure to come say hello and stock up on some new and restocked farm fresh offerings!

Hey folks, Pioneer Roots Farm will be at the Tasty Tuesday market tomorrow. Fabulous ferments abound, as we've been busy for the past week harvesting and creating your favorites, as well as some new yummy krauts and pickles. Goat Cheese Ranch and Green Goddess dressings will be available as well, as our goats have been kind enough to bless us with lots of milk. See you bright and early tomorrow!

Hey folks! Pioneer Roots Farm will not be at Tasty Tuesday this week as a vendor, but I may make an appearance as a customer. We have family visiting from out of state so we're going to spend the week showing them around town.
I will be back in my usual spot at the usual time next week with lots of fabulous ferments and other farm offerings, including the return of our Goat Cheese Ranch Dressing and (if it's ripe enough) some Goat Milk Brie!

Pioneer Roots Farm will see you at the market bright and early tomorrow with our fabulous ferments, fresh goat cheese, and some freshly fermented Forest Berry kombucha made with organic Blueberries, wild harvested Bilberries, and our farm grown Spanish Lavender. It's seriously delicious, ya'll!
Almost forgot! We have a limited supply of Green Goddess dressing as well.

After so much weather watching both last night and this morning, I have decided that Pioneer Roots Farm won't be making the market this morning due to high wind gusts and sustained winds forecasted to be in the 20-30's. If you're looking for something fun to do this Saturday, Pioneer Roots Farm and many of your favorite local farmers will be celebrating the Collards Festival in downtown New Port Richey. We will have some fabulous ferments featuring our farm grown Collards, and there will be loads of other delicious Collard-inspired foods and drinks from our friends. I hope to see you all there!

Hey folks! Pioneer Roots Farm will be at the market tomorrow. I've got quite a few new ferments made from our abundant harvest. No fresh cheese yet because we're still waiting on kids from our mama goats, but I will have ripened Alpine cheese and some soft ripened cheese wheels. I can't wait to see all of you!

Hey folks! Pioneer Roots Farm isn't going to make it to the market tomorrow. The good news is that the shoulder injury isn't joint-related, it's soft tissue; but bad news is that it's just not 100% yet, and I can't afford to re-injure it right before Christmas.
I'm so sorry for the inconvenience to you all, and I do hope you have a very Merry Christmas! We will see you all in the new year!
