Every dog loves chewing, so why not give them something natural and nutrition-rich to chew on! Turkey feet are only $2 each and can be eaten WHOLE! For smaller dogs we also have chicken ($0.75) & duck ($0.85) feet. Turkey feet are perfect for larger dogs because they’re about 3-4x larger than chicken and duck feet. What probiotics are you feeding your dog in conjunction with their raw food diet?? My go-to‘s are goat’s milk/kefir from Raw Cuisine (given every other day) or Pro Gut Supplement.
I’ve battled leaky gut and food intolerances with Bowser for the past year now and finally I have what seems to work! He gets 1 cup of goat’s kefir every other day, Pro-Gut supplement on the days he doesn’t get kefir and he eats a strict Turkey only diet (for now). If you think your dog may be allergic or intolerant to something, the best thing you can do is put them on one protein for 30 days and see how they are after the 30 days.

Goat’s milk & kefir are packed with probiotics, amino acids, protein and calcium. Both options promote gut health, fight inflammation and help relieve bloating and indigestion. A fantastic source of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats and bacteria, protein and moisture.
Goat’s milk has a similar texture to regular cow’s milk, while kefir is a creamier, more yogurt like texture. Kefir has a fridge life of 60 days and milk for 14 days. Goat’s milk is a great place to start if you are just introducing your dog to it, while kefir is a more probiotic, nutrient rich option for dogs who know and love goat’s milk and kefir already. All 3 of my dog’s drink both, but were all introduced to goat’s milk first. Now they love the creamy, thick texture of the kefir either alone or poured over their premade blends. Is also a great source of extra moisture, calcium & vitamins over kibble!

Feeding puppies 3x per day makes it easier for them to digest and helps keep energy levels consistent. Since puppies from 2-8 months eat the largest amount that they will in their lifetime, it’s important to spread the daily amount out between 3 meals to help decrease bloating in growing dogs. YES! ————- Can you feed both kibble and raw? Yes! There is a common misconception that you cannot feed your dog both kibble and raw because they digest at different times, but doesn’t all food? All of the food we as humans consume digests at different times, as well, and that is OK! Our digestive system, as well as dog’s, are designed to figure out what foods to digest first. Some raw is better than none, so don’t be afraid to mix a little in with their kibble if you are on a tight budget or if feeding all raw simply does not work with you! One thing we would not recommend is constantly switching back and forth from all raw to all kibble. One meal of kibble then one meal of raw per day is fine, or simply mix the raw in with the kibble for each meal. Give your dogs what they deserve to live a long and happy life 🥩🥦🍗
