Our beautiful little Ariel went home today. It was hard to let her go but when you know they have found the most amazing person it makes it so much easier! We can't wait to watch this beautiful girl thrive and grow in her new home.

Life jackets have their place in every wardrobe and we’ve certainly been using ours this summer. From practicing in the pool to paddle boarding and sea swimming.
Swimming can be difficult for dachshunds because of their long body and short legs and the life jackets provide added safety and peace of mind. The jackets come in bright colours and reflective materials for visibility and have convenient grab handles.

It’s kind of bittersweet as I have definitely noticed that Bru is spending more of his days sleeping and I can only assume it’s because he’s technically a senior boy now being 10.5 years old! He’s definitely not that old in my head and I need to remind myself that he can’t quite do as much as he could a few years back. Beverley sent me this just now. Any other sneaky DA doggies out there? :)) Fi Hi Fi & Dave Hope you're both well. I just wanted to share something with you regarding Ava. She is the most intelligent dog I've ever had. She has been sneaking food behind my back for what I suspect is a few months now (if I think back to when her farts started getting really bad). So I've been working from home since March. I have been noticing the milk froth on my coffee disappear in the last few months. I convinced myself the milk quality changed or it was just evaporating. Then the day before I looked down at my coffee cup to take it to the dishwasher and I noticed the froth was defying gravity and sitting up on the wall of the mug. I realised that the dog must have been having it. I set up the camera as I thought if she had been, she wouldn't do it in front of me and yep she was. Every time I walked out the room to get something or to quickly go to the toilet. See how she only nibbles at food, that is so calculated as she inhales her treats leaving no crumb behind. No wonder I didn't realise earlier. She listens for me so I don't catch her. Making sure I push the chair in every time I get up. Anyway I hope that gave you a laugh. Hope the dogs are well and family too during these times. Beverley
