We held onto this litter two weeks longer than we have with past litters. My goal is to raise puppies that will transition easily into their new homes. During this time we have worked on the command “come “, lying on their backs while grooming, exposure to the blow dryer, their first full groom, short outings, playtime with children and exposure to crates.
This will be the hardest goodbye of them all. I have spent the last 5 1/2 months raising our beautiful Shih Tzu puppies. It has been a ton of work but I have loved every single second. I am so thankful for my husband and daughters’ support and assistance (vet visits, labor and delivery assistants, bathing, grooming and countless hours of puppy playtime). And to Twana for always being a available no matter how rediculous my question may be.
I have truly fallen in love with each any every one of these babies. I am thankful for the time they were in my care and even more grateful for the incredible families they are going to join 🥰
