Our April show is fast approaching and our judge for the whole show will be Mr Steve Germany, we are entertaining Midland Dwarf Rabbit Club whose judges are John Holden and in the new judges show Georgina Nicholls.

As some of our committee will unfortunately be unable to make this show, any assistance with shifting and lifting stuff and in the canteen will be greatly appreciated. Please PM Richard with offers of help.

Herefords post Christmas blues show is now creeping up on us at a fast pace. We will be entertaining South Wales Rabbit Club as well, and not the National Polish as the BRC calendar is saying. We look forward to this partnership show.

Thank you to everybody for attending Hereford today. Seven years since the last show, and we returned to the fantastic venue of Withington Village Hall, and it felt like we’d never left.

A great day for all concerned and all done in good time, thanks to everybody who helped put down before we did presentations. It always helps and show was down in less than 40 minutes.

The committee and officers of Hereford Fur Fanciers are so saddened at the passing of our late president Mrs Yvonne Hobbs of Willowcot Stud. One of Herefordshires own residents, and one of only four angora studs to win BiS at both Bradford and London championship shows respectively, interesting enough three of those four studs all carrying same breeding lines (Willowbank, Willowcot & Whincup and Grindey). She was a passionate rabbit fancier and committed her heart and soul to the regional and National hobby. She is now at rest with her belated and truly loved Harold. Here is Yvonne with one of her favourite colours in angora the Smoke English Angora. RiP Yvonne.

Well the inaugural reformation meeting of Hereford Fur Fanciers took place this evening on a video conference call. Such enthusiasm and subject to BRC approval the club has reformed, this time with its own pens etc purchased for the club by one of our members.

The new team at the club therefore are:

Richard Grindey has donated the Harold Hobbs Memorial shield for the first show which will hopefully (subject to BRC approval) be on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August at the old Hereford venue of Withington Village Hall.

The next show will then be what used to be the usual Hereford Xmas date of Bank Holiday after Xmas which is Tuesday 27th December 2022.

Soon as we get everything confirmed more detail will follow. Simon & Richard will help the new committee in their roles and to settle into them, and the enthusiasm from the new committee is amazing!! You are guaranteed the old charms and laughter of a Hereford Show🥳🥳.

Hereford Fur Fanciers has a group of people who are interested in getting the club underway again. The club now has pens. We will Shortly be arranging a meeting to formalise stuff again. But Hereford is back thanks to some keen and committed fanciers. 🥳🥳
