How is this the same cat?!?!??
Valentina has came such a long way. I’m forever grateful something told me not to give up on her!
This sweet girl is still looking for her forever home. She needs someone with a kind heart, someone who can recognize what she has been through, and that can make it their responsibility to insure she never has another bad day ever!

She is the most perfect cat! Despite missing a leg Valentina has so much determination and strength. She acts completely normal you would never know what she’s been through.

She is about 7 months old, fixed and vaccinated.

There are so many words I can use to describe her, but I keep coming back to determined.
She needs an owner who is also determined to make her life the best it can possibly be.

A little update on the crew!

Valentina, Larry and Leona are all still doing wonderful!

Valentina is almost completely healed and hasn’t slowed down for a single minute!
Larry is patiently awaiting Leona to gain a little more weight so that she can be spayed and they can go to their furever home together!

In the meantime, they’re all just living their best lives here with us. ❤️

We have some gnarly weather rolling in here as well as other parts of the country. Reminder for all pet lovers: When setting up shelters for outdoor cats (and dogs), be sure to use STRAW—not other materials! Unlike hay or blankets, straw doesn't retain moisture, which can make animals colder. Instead, straw helps trap and reflect their body heat, keeping them cozy and warm during chilly weather. 🐾

Our sweet girl is going today to have her stitches removed! She is doing so well and is ready for this next chapter.

We are now taking adoption applications on Miss Valentina!💖

This cat is one of a kind, she has so much love to give!❤️❤️
Whoever ends up with the amazing opportunity to adopt Valentina, you are in for an amazing time! She has so much to offer, we all love this cat dearly and we can’t wait for her to get settled into a home of her very own!

Valentina is 6 months old, she is fixed and vaccinated.
⚠️One of her front legs has been amputated due to some nerve damage causing her leg to be useless.

She is incredibly strong and full of life! She loves to play and loves to cuddle! She is a purr box and never sees a dull moment!

Fun fact she has one brown eye and one green!💚🤎

We would love for her to go to someone with experience with special kitties, but that’s definitely not a must.

⚠️She needs to go with someone who has at least one other cat.
⚠️She must be indoors only!

I plan to take my time with this to choose the perfect home for this special girl!

Our year in review!
2024 was another big year here at the rescue. Here are some fun facts!

👍🏽97 animals rescued in all
👍🏽our first 7 fosters of 2024 here at the cat rescue, were puppies
👍🏽one was a hamster
👍🏽we had more medical cases and long term fosters this year than ever before
👍🏽zero days of empty crates. I actually don’t remember a single day that we weren’t at capacity.

Our total rescued number is down some from last year, but not for lack of hard work.

In 2024, 95% of the animals we took in, stayed with us until adoption time. Meaning we didn’t overnight for other rescues very often.

We had sooooo many bottle babies and very young kittens this year. Meaning, they were with us a good long while. Kittens are with us until 3 pounds. So the younger we get them, the longer they’re here. Most 14+ weeks.

2024 offered some of the best adopters we’ve ever had. We’re so thankful for all the updates we get. We love seeing these cats living their best lives! Being loved and spoiled!

97 rescued, fully vaccinated and fixed = hundreds of thousands of lives saved.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible circle of support. So pat yourself on the back, follow along, and let’s keep rolling strong into 2025. Too many cats depend on us.

This is just a one minute video of Valentina’s time with us. Through good and bad, this girl is a fighter, a warrior. She has been fighting her whole life and still is. She is healing and taking much needed down time. Keep this girl in your prayers. She’s doing so good and I couldn’t be more proud of a cat. 🤍🐱

Little Dobby has been spending the day at the vets office. He’s been having diarrhea we just can’t seem to resolve, and he’s lost some weight because of it. All of his in house tests have been negative so we will be sending some samples out to the lab.

Hopefully we are able to get this guy feeling better soon! ❤️‍🩹

Good morning everyone! Happy Christmas Eve!
Update on the babies!
Larry got neutered yesterday, but they want Leona to gain a little more weight.
Larry is doing great and don’t even know anything happened 😆

Valentina has shocked us all!
She would be going 100% this morning if we would let her.
She wants to run and play so bad she can’t stand it. She is doing amazing. She has to stay low and stay confined for a few days, to heal.

It’s the big day!
They are not very happy, but wish us luck!

The two little babies are tagging along today as well, the vet is going to evaluate them for possible spay and neuter today!
