Dreamer will never know how special he is to me 🤍

I think I get more nervous watching this pair compete than actually competing myself! As always Dreamer and Emily danced their way through such a magical and beautiful test to score 67.57%. They were top 5 for the majority of the day but then sadly got bumped down to 7th! They are honestly superstars! 😍 another Area Festival ticked off the list!

Gary didn’t disappoint either, in a very strong elementary class we were pleased to have scored 66% with a major mistake which costs us a few 4’s but it was so nice to see a few 8’s on our test sheets! Gary was a little nervous but kept his cool, put on his brave pants and worked with me! (Finally!!!!) 😅

As always, thank you to my support team behind me, I couldn’t do any of this without you all! 🫶

Now it’s time for the best show of the year …. Sheepgate Under 25’s ❤️

I’m not to sure how I can put into words how proud I am of Emily!

I very reluctantly handed over my one in a million horse but I’ve never doubted my decision once!

Emily and Dreamer got selected to ride for Inter Regionals for the South and East region and didn’t they smash it all weekend! 💪

With a smile on her face at all times she Rode 3 amazing tests, she made me cry numerous times but I am so proud of how well she rode under the pressure of such a huge atmosphere! Her first BIG show! I’ll tell you now I still struggle at the age of 20, let alone being only 10 years old 😝🥰

It was a strange feeling this weekend without having a horse to ride, especially when 6 years ago I started my dressage journey at the very same venue with our very special horse! 🐴

This weekend I brought my trainers instead of my boots and I was the groom! 😬 I was running round keeping both my Divas happy but I loved it!! 😊

A huge thank you goes to Mum for supporting us both while we achieve our dreams but I can’t thank Jessica Brown enough for the encouragement she’s given Emily from day one!
She first met Emily when she was 4 and told us when she was able to ride on a team she would welcome her with open arms onto the South and East team. 6 years later, Jess was at the fence cheering Emily on while she rode her tests. You’ve been above amazing! - thank you ❤️

The sport which can be your biggest success and achievement but also the reason you’re drained and wanting to give up!

My journey with Gary hasn’t been the most straight forward route and there have been times where I’ve wanted to give up riding all together! I keep reminding myself A bad day isn’t a bad life 🤪

Recently we have just clicked and are actually, enjoying our journey together.

Sunday was a day which I won’t ever forget, it reminded me why I haven’t given up and love my job! my stomach churned the whole journey up to Bury Farm Equestrian Village and I was feeling rather nervous. No idea why but it was one of those days!

Despite the heat and all my nerves Gary held my hand and together we rode two fabulous test! We brought home 2 overall 1st and 2 amazing scores of 69%+. We even bagged ourselves some prize money too 💸🥇 maybe forgetting my stock and spurs is the way forward 🤪 super dad came to the rescue as per usual!

Thank you to all those who have supported us both to get us to where we are now! We couldn’t do it without you all ❤️

Such a special boy 🩵🥹

Despite the heat and my nerves Gary was an absolute angel and performed 2 very nice tests! Bringing home a 3rd and 4th rosette in a very competitive class.

There was a couple of green and tired mistakes but we both came out smiling! (And very red in the face) 😊 🍅

I am absolutely loving every second I spend training Gary! Very excited to start moving up the levels very shortly! 🤞

A massive thank you always goes to the Team behind me, who support me and the horses each day! We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without you all! 🫶

I stole Dreamy for a little school, he obviously had to have his pre ride cuddles 🥰

He is still by far my favourite boy and I count myself lucky every day to still have him 🥹❤️

Gazy you are something rather special 🥹🫶

After some downtime this winter we decided it was time to take Gary out to a party!! I wasn’t looking forward to it as he was very excited about being plaited up this morning 🙈😆 I put my brave pants on and we trotted down the centre line to gain a 🥇 place and 67.76%!

Gary didn’t put a foot wrong, he behaved like a saint and was so happy to be out. His ears were pricked the whole time and I think he very much enjoyed his outing ❤️

Thank you to my number one supporter (mummy Teresa) none of this would be possible without you! Gazza also looked very smart 😝

The perfect pair 🩷

Dreamer has been feeling a little too well recently! I can’t believe he is 21 this year 😅🥹 he doesn’t look or act a day over 5 😂

Emily has been working hard to learn how to ride such a fantastic horse and she is doing such an amazing job! I still have to pinch myself everyday to be so blessed with a horse like him in our lives! ❤️

Truly lost for words! This horse is just an absolute superstar and looks after every rider he has on his back 🤍

First BD competition for this fantastic pair and they brought home a 1st place and 68.44% in prelim 17A 🥇

This is the best decision I have ever made 💗

This morning I had the honour to watch my fantastic pair train away from home at a new place!

Emily and Dreamer adventured over to the wonderful Abbey Farm Dressage for a clinic with Mark Townsend Coaching. It so amazing to watch how much these two have progressed throughout the months! 💗

I didn’t think it would be so hard to have to sit quietly and watch them dance together and be the groom 😜 I am so happy to see little Emily smile from ear to ear! He really is a superstar 🥰

A bittersweet post for my number one. ❤️

We have taken the tough decision to step Dreamy down and let him take his new rider on an amazing adventure letting her fulfil her dreams!

In the past 5 years Dreamer and I have had many obstacles get in the way but we still managed to prove everyone wrong and wear my tails for not only one season but two! We have been to places where I never thought I’d get to and I’ve always been beaming from ear to ear after every ride!

Together we have gone from Elementary to PSG learning together every half pass of the way - holding our hands and hooves together 💗

After nearly loosing him multiple times to colic it’s a blessing to still be able to see his cheeky face each day and for him to drag me across the yard! I can’t wait for him to make Emily’s dreams come true and watch them progress together. I guess I’ll be the groom from now on 😜

Another Dream, Dreamer has made me achieve 🥰

Addington Area Feativals at PSG and we managed to bring home a rosette despite some tense trot work and many bucks in the canter! It’s so nice to have Dreamy feeling so well! You would of thought at the grand age of 20 he’d know better 🤦‍♀️❤️

Wow wow wow 🔥 how stunning is this rug which was kindly given to me by Beewear

Not only do people always complement on how smart I look, now the boys can always be smart while away from home!

I am so in love with the front closure, the front straps are protected which is perfect for travelling so the rug doesn’t get caught on the haynets. The back has such a pretty detailing followed by my business name 😍

Sometimes last minute decisions are the best ones! 🫶

On Saturday Dreamer and I ventured to Moulton College Equestrian Centre to dance to our music! It gives me goosebumps every time I ride it! Thank you so much Ros Emery-Kay!

Have you ever thought that you over horsed yourself and lost the mojo to ride your best four legged friend? 🦄

Well, let me tell you … I have on many occasions. The frustration of not achieving and the inconsistency have been building up over the last few years with Gary, making it the standing joke: How did you get on today, Jayne? Well, It was is usual Gary 😂

When we attended Inter Regional at the beginning of July, I thought I was riding a can of pop ready to explode. 🍾🍾 The more I rode him, the more he became unridable. 🤦‍♀️ Frustrated and disappointed we returned home, but decided to investigate before taking further actions. 😬

Wow, the poor boy had ulcers all over 😳 he wasn’t just his normal self, he was tying to tell us something. 🙈

Ulcers cured, and Gary has been foot perfect ever since. 👍 We represented North&East Region in Home Nations scoring consistently over 68+% and we have just returned from Sheepgate under 25’s Championships where he was placed on the podium twice again with great scores over 68%. I couldn’t be more pleased with him. 😍

What a great end to a rollercoaster summer. 🎢🎡

I’m still in shock after Monday’s success at Bury Farm. After a huge confidence wobble at Addington last week I am pleased to say Gary and I regained our partnership and gave it our all and it really showed 😊

Gary had his dancing shoes on and scored 69% and 68% bringing home a 1st and 2nd Rosette 🏵️

I can’t thank the team behind me enough, as much as it’s my performance on the day it wouldn’t be possible without the support crew I have behind me. Jenny has spend many hours with me and she’s seen the good and the bad and for me to be able to tell her the news of how well it went on Monday meant the world to me! Thank you for sticking by my side 🥰
