Haven’t shared these beauties yet. Really excited to be working with our 1.1 Madagascarophis meridionalis (Madagascan Cat Eyed Snakes) This is a small rear fanged venomous species native to Madagascar and so far seem to be great and calm handlers yet great feeders! Currently loving our growing collection of rear fanged venomous species which are proving to be some of the most interesting species to work with!

Another batch of Sakishima eggs have landed 🤩 seems our two pairs have distinct colour differences. Still deciding whether it’s age related but the younger pair are more emerald green and the older unrelated pair are more lime green. Will be interesting to see whether this is a result of age or genetics. Either way never a sad sight when these amazing animals drop pearly whites 🥰

3 clutches in 3 days! On day 3 we have received a beautiful pair of pearly whites from our young pair of Sakishima Grass Lizards (Takydromus dorsalis). We are one of less than a handful of people in the UK breeding these amazing species. They are a rare and endangered species of grass lizard from the Yaeyama islands in southern Japan. Feeling blessed to be able to work and breed such an incredible species and continue to propagate their species in captivity. The female from our older unrelated pair is looking gravid too so hopefully some more eggs coming soon 🙏🙏

An inspiration to an entire generation and surely more in the future. Make no mistake, today we have lost a massive figure and promoter for the love and understanding of animals. A hole which will not be easily filled. Your legacy will live on through the ages. Thank you for all that you have done and certainly you have left the world in a much better place than how you found it. Rest in peach Brian. Tonight the eggs continue. Funnily enough just setup these laying tubes yesterday thanks to and this afternoon she’s gone ahead and dropped her first two eggs of the season 😍 Lygodactylus williamsi is a critically endangered species in the wild and so conservation through captive breeding is essential to the longevity of the species 🙏 mum chilling on the pot holder and the eggs in the second picture are tucked deep into one of the breeding tubes
