Ackee is just soooooo excited for his trip this weekend !
Vermilion can come along with us to GA if anyone is along that route who wants an adorable little one ❤️
Some puppy ASMR! Our puppies get to taste and eat human foods in moderation from the day they’re old enough to chew, as it helps them have that lovely “Garbage Disposal” stomach that we all love in our dogs.
Training with baby Vermilion, practicing a stay.
Despite still being mildly under the weather (not contagious, dont worry!), we made use of this Saturday and got the puppies out for 2 socialization outings! Petsmart and Bass Pro gave them the chance to say hi to so many different new friends!
As the remaining babies get older, they’re assigned “real” names so we can continue training. Meet “ Vermillion “ formerly “Red Puppy”
Vermilion so far exhibits medium drive, and a extremely high desire to be with people. She is not as confident as her two dominant sisters, but is not overly shy. She takes on new obstacles well and is OBSESSED with tunnels, pompoms, and any sort of rope toy.
These two goofy little red babies are waiting for their perfect families to come along!
Everyone’s growing well! I’d say they’re about 75% litter trained now and some little personalities are starting to show!
A sleepy puppy trying to play
Just cleaned the Puppy Zone again, everyone is getting so big! Purple Collar (Jersey Devil)’s leg is looking completely normal, and the smallest pup, Green, has caught up to her siblings
Sorry about Gordon Ramsay in the background lol
The puppies are starting to really be mobile! We’re also starting to learn the litterbox, and they’re getting close to figuring it out I think!
Mothman being the model patient for a mock “exam”
(Excuse the TV in the background)
Tonight’s choice of noise - Thunderstorm!
Rougarou is the smallest of the litter, but she’s been learning faster than everyone so far. She was the first to start trying to walk today ❤️
This a fairly normal nighttime routine. The puppies had just finished nursing, and momma Onie got a sunflower butter filled water Buffalo horn (I’m allergic to peanut butter and sunflower butter is a great substitute!), while a loud video of fireworks plays next to the kennel, helping the noise become “normal” to the puppies. As you can see, it doesn’t disturb them or their mother.
Little Mothman enjoying a belly rub ❤️ no ones on the list for him yet, unfortunately no one wants a boy for some reason! In my experience, males are just as friendly and trainable as the females, though they may need to have special focus training around BIS.
Forgive the terrible singing, but I realized many of y’all have never seen how ridiculous Onie is to put up with me 😂😂😂 thank the gods for tolerant dogs 😂
Babies are all doing well!
