Today is Dorothy’s Birthday - 1 today 🎉🍾

She fills our world with joy …. loose hair, slobber, toys, mess, smelly bones, endless batches of bone broth, ….. and love ❤️

I hope we as her humans brighten her world to the same degree she brighten ours

There was always a bit of a worry about Boo being so old and getting her a new (giant!) sister - but they get along so well and have bonded in a way I never imagined. I’m sure Boo would prefer it if she didn’t get the odd right hook from Dorothy when playing but Boo always puts her in her place and reminds her who the boss is!! 🤣

Another outing for Dorothy to practice doing nothing - this time to a coffee shop! So much to see and so many nice smells but eventually she did lie down and perfected doing nothing for a bit!!

First size checks of the year - looking gigantic - or Boo has shrunk in the wash!!!

Her weight gain has slowed dramatically so not sure why she is looking quite so big!

Her last size check of the year - and Dorothy is weighing in at just shy of 50kg (49.2 to be precise - on Monday before breakfast and after a walk)

Useless fact for the day is 100kg is known as a quintal - making Dorothy just about half a quintal!

Half a quintal of the most clumsy, loving, playful, slobbery, furry flump of a dog - and we adore her ❤️

Dorothy enjoyed breakfast in the Faro - she was very excited to see a two tier dog biscuit plate (full of biscuits!!) and then she crashed out taking up pretty much the whole walk way to the kitchens 🤣
