Another Benny and Nellie update!

Nellie and Benny are a sweet bonded pair who were adopted through our rescue almost 10 years ago. Their owner, Ginny, was the most amazing and kind person and helped Nellie flourish into an amazing dog (she was SO shy when she first came to us). When Ginny passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago, we instantly agreed to take the dogs back into rescue and to find them a home that Ginny would approve! And amazingly we DID! Nellie and Benny hit the jackpot AGAIN and are once again beloved pets and spoiled rotten! Thanks to their new owners for stepping up and taking a chance on a senior bonded pair. We know Ginny is smiling :)

Ok, let's talk about Chiquita! I can not figure out why this amazing girl has not found her forever home. Chiquita is the life of the party! If she were a human she would be head cheerleader! She loves everyone and everything and hasn't had a bad day in her life. Well maybe one bad day because her previous owners actually tossed her over a bridge and she had to be rescued by boat! This girl really deserves a home of her own and while she is quite happy hanging with us, she would be SO much happier with a family. Chiquita promises to make you laugh, will snuggle with you at night, and will happily make you exercise! She is a literal gem! She doesn't photograph super well since she isn't a fan of being cold and really wanted to go inside versus having a photo session! Let us know if you'd like to adopt this amazing soul!

Bruno who is one of Teeny's puppies from this past summer had his DNA test done and is 100% Redbone Coonhound! He's a big boy who, at 8 months, is 70 lbs! So glad he is doing well!

Many of you will remember Vegas who was rescued several years ago after being found abandoned by a police officer. Vegas, called Gus by his family, recently passed away. Huge hugs for his grieving family.
