Update: Fili is placed!
Fili does great with other dogs, has a low prey drive, respects poultry, and is gentle with little children. He is currently sixteen weeks and has so much potential as a companion or service dog. He has been patiently waiting for his perfect home as his original situation did not happen and he has remained with us all along. He is housebroken, food motivated, crate trained, and walking well with harness and leash. He is steady and patient.

Ella is placed, and will be traveling to her new family in the mountains of West Virginia tomorrow! She will be with a family experienced with this wonderful breed and will receive the training and love she’s so worthy of receiving.

Goldie has been placed in a wonderful home and is doing very well with the transition. Her people are in love with her and I know she is, too! They already have her playing fetch and she loves her children!

Goldie had her first night back with us, and has been perfect! Her manners are excellent and she now has full living room privileges, as she listens so well and is housebroken.She is gentle with our baby Lucy, and a joy with the older children, and gentle with the mama hen and chicks in the yard.
I am pleased to offer her up as a family companion dog, and confident that she can also help on a homestead, as well.
Even as a young puppy, she was confident and did well with new environments, and her three weeks in North Carolina has proven how adaptable and intelligent she is.

Goldie is coming back to Sinking Creek as her family had some unforeseen situations come up that made it difficult to keep her. She is twelve weeks, has been to the vet for her check up and vaccines, and has received very attentive training and lots love and affirmation. We are grateful to Caroline Betts and Vickie Terry for all of the great labor in starting her. She has a lot to offer to a family as a companion or possibly even agility or therapy dog.

Ella is our final little female from our summer litter and is a very smart and capable little puppy. She’s biddable and adventurous and extremely confident. She is an excellent candidate for an active, experienced ES home and is already proven herself capable with our cattle and sheep. She’s guarding our new chicks very conscientiously and definitely has her mama Winnie’s understanding of the need for order on the farm, and the desire to herd anyone straying back to its proper place. She’s a good listener, and looks to her people for feedback and guidance and is food motivated, which makes for easier training.

Nine weeks old, and three puppies remain!

Good boy Fili is eight weeks old and a big sweetheart. He loves to be with his people and he is a great listener and lives to please. He is learning about animals great and small, and has really enjoyed the new kittens and respects Mama Cat Reese’s rules.
He is a perceptive observer and at the farm he is watching the stock and getting comfortable and learning where everything belongs.
His calm, easy personality shows excellent prospects for an all around balanced companion or farm dog up to the English Shepherd standards.

Update: Goldie is placed!
Sinking Creek Farm’s Goldie is an energetic, extroverted, happy-go-lucky female. She loves people, exploring, and new environments. She’s biddable, and is doing very well with introductions to small animals and unfamiliar outdoor sounds. She sticks close to her people and looks to us for direction.

Sinking Creek Farm’s Valla is a balanced, people-centric pup. She is petite and energetic, calm and confident. She has the confidence to come into a new environment and make it hers. She is biddable and will come promptly when beckoned, even in an exciting environment, likes to be by my side and follow and appears to have a lower prey drive. The cats are interesting, but not something to chase or bite. She loves to cuddle and is delighted to be picked up and held. She is gentle with children and delighted with their company. We are located in East Tennessee and our dogs are health and hip tested and are our family companions and farm helpers. Puppies are currently seven weeks. Previous litters have produced balanced companion dogs with some involved in agility, herding and farm work. Assistance with delivery to the NE and Midwest is available.

Sinking Creek Farm’s Kili is intelligent and outgoing. He is our gritty, athletic male that has the tenacity to succeed and the temperament to want to please and to get the job done. He is absolutely an alpha male, but comes tail wagging and loves to cuddle and is great with (older)children. He is confident and comfortable in new environments and loves direction and a challenge. He has the “get it done,” attitude from his Cedar Creek lines nicely blended with the (Guy Wilson) well rounded homestead ES personality that just shines through.

Winnie had her first farm getaway since the puppies were born. She had so much fun helping us do chores, and even got to move the sheep into a different pasture. (Just look at her smile.) In the end though, she was glad to come back to her puppies. They were very glad to see her, too!
