Little Leo had stopped eating about a week ago.

We began subcutaneous fluids every-other-day and had been syringe feeding a mixture of water, pancake syrup and liquid simethicone twice a day.
(In the photo he is wrapped in a blanket for his feeding.)

Fortunately, last night, he started eating and had kale, two apple slices, and a small piece of carrot.
It looks like he is going to be alright.

Beatrix has only been here a short time, but she seems to like her new home and is very friendly.

We decided on the name Gracie for this new member of our group. She is living beside Maude and Melody, and is getting accustomed to her new home and rabbit companions.

This little bunny came to us a couple weeks ago, a referral from the Windsor animal control. We need to choose a name for her. Suggestions welcome

If you're thinking of getting a rabbit this Springtime, remember that a rabbit can live as long as a dog. Be prepared for a ten or more-year commitment.
This is an old picture of Mr. Pumpkin who lived with us here for twelve years.

Newman went to the vet last week and was diagnosed with a large abdominal mass. We brought him back with medication to keep him comfortable. Yesterday morning he passed away.
Around eight years ago, he was found wandering in a field in Ellington. He came to us through the Town of Ellington Animal Control Dept. We were glad to be able to give him a good home. We will miss our old friend.
