Zazzle woke up on the wrong side of the nest this morning!

Zazzle had a visit with the vet earlier this week. They said about 70% of the swelling is gone, but they think it may be a recurring issue. (They suspect she may have a tumor in her reproductive tract.) For now, we are continuing her antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine. Zazzle sends you all chickie kisses for your concern and well wishes! 🐓😘

Dr Pence (Dr Rich's associate) said she is not egg bound. She might have an infection or she might have a tumor, or both. They drained a bunch of fluid from her abdomen, took an x-ray and are running tests on the fluids. She is home, feeling better for the time, and is on antibiotics. They want to do surgery to see if she has a tumor and to spay her. YIKES

Silliest, prettiest chicken in the world! Or am I just prejudiced?

We built a stick shelter and covered it in grass. Four baby bunnies are now back where their home was mowed under, but with an upgraded house. Momma bunny should come and get them tonight. ❤️
