What is bioactive??

A bioactive terrarium (or vivarium) is a terrarium for housing one or more terrestrial animals that includes live plants as well as populations of small invertebrates and microorganisms to consume and break down the waste products of the primary species.

Why bioactive??

Bioactive provides not only a more natural environment for your animal but it also alloes for less maintenance which means less stress on your animals. The micro fauna which are the "clean up crew" break down the waste, helps enrich the soil so that your live plants grow better and last longer.
