In the last month???

I’ve posted a couple of short videos to show how to brush and comb a doodle/poo or curly coat.
Combing is as important as brushing.. you’ll be amazed.

Brushing a dogs coat is so important for coat health, skin health, blood circulation and a chance for you to notice any changes, lumps, grass seeds, skin tags, fleas and ticks.
Take time to check between the paw pads at this time of year for burrs and ticks.

When brushing pay particular attention to areas where the harness and collar sit, hip/thighs, belly, beards, behind the ears and armpits. Don’t just brush along their backs and head.
With these types of coats, you absolutely MUST brush out after every bath!
Matting becomes painful and can cause injury to a dog if left. If matting has already got to a stage where it cannot be broken down, then safely cut it out. It is kinder on them (and the groomer 😉)

I’ve only managed to get through the last week with the help of wonderful understanding clients, well behaved dogs, fabulous friends, a truly magnificent and supportive family. THANK YOU ALL ❣️

Thank you for all your custom this last year, sadly I’ve lost some adorable dogs this year, that I was lucky to love and cuddle, they will be thought of with many fond memories and never forgotten.
