Here’s to Hulk who will be losing lots of pounds and then treated for heartworms when he’s healthy enough.

🐶Female pitt / cane corso pups being given away at Atwoods in Jacksonville this afternoon.🐶. Two were taken before one of our volunteers arrived and took the rest. They are too young to be separated from their mom and each other!

On Tuesday, December 3, an inconsiderate, selfish, worthless human dumped Rustie at a boat ramp at Lake Tyler. News Flash! Lakes and ponds do NOT save their lives! God will tend to the humans who are abusing, neglecting and killing children and animals. 😡

Tomorrow, this deserving boy will turn a page to his next chapter as he is headed for his new home! Jaci and so many others, we thank you for fostering to help us save lives.

CALLING SENIOR LAB LOVERS !!! We need a foster while he undergoes his heartworm treatment. ❤️

HE is a TRUE HULK in every sense.

HULK is guesstimated to be @ 8 yrs old, neutered and whopping 95 lb HANDSOME Chocolate Lab. His story will make you sad and mad! He was loved at some point, BUT his family knew/knows he ended up in the shelter and just decided they didn't want him anymore. So now he sits very sad, confused and feeling under the weather (stress induced for sure). HULK is now in our isolation kennels due to some eye discharge. he's being treated with a round of antibiotics, but he's separated from all the other animals and isn't visible to the public. Hes on hard concrete floors and these cold temps are just making him ache. He isn't being seen and NEEDS our HELP to get HIS STORY shared.

HULK needs a calm home. He doesn't ask for ALOT. He is super sweet, calm and well mannered. He is house trained and crate trained. He walks well on a leash, knows sit and is very treat motivated. He is very friendly and has zero issues with others. Gulk just needs someone who just wants a low maintenance, low energy good dog to hang out with, take a stroll or just be friends. he could stand to lose a little weight (i mean can't we all) and a little exercise to help his mobility. beyond that, he just wants to be loved.

We have a co-rescue who has offered to take Hulk. We just need a foster who can let him hang out while we treat him for heartworms.

Since September 2019, we’ve been blessed to save around 5,200 animals Every animal we’ve helped is a testament to our donors, fosters & volunteers belief in our mission, and for that, we are truly grateful.

One of the CRITICAL TOOLS that allow us to save so many lives are our two transport vans. In the last 3 months alone, these vans have transported 70-80 dogs per month— that’s a total of 210-240 dogs given a chance at life. Without transports we would be lucky to have adopted 50 for the same 3 months.

We’ve heard concerns about donating for the vans, but please know that when you donate for maintenance, it’s not just about the van itself—it’s about saving lives. Just like Sophie, who you can see here, had we not had the vans, her fate might have been death instead of the new life she’s starting this week.

Please donate so we can repair ($5,200) our van to continue to make a difference, one van ride and one rescue at a time.

We need your help!
Bess has been hospitalized with GI issues. We aren't sure what's wrong yet, but we can tell she's in pain. The estimate for testing, ultrasound, x-rays, meds, overnight stay and more is currently at $1000-1300.
Bess survived parvo as a puppy and has been in our program a while, waiting for her forever home.

AND NOW THERE ARE 6 😭 😭 😭

Right before closing time yesterday, we were notified about 7 puppies abandoned in a box at a Gladewater facility without their mom. We only had an hour before they would have to be euthanized so our team jumped into action for a fast plan! These puppies are barely a week old and they still have their eyes closed. Our team found a bottle feeding foster and then we secured another rescue to take them since we have taken in 4 litters recently.

One pup was crying and injured severely. We have no idea if a human tied something to his leg or what happened. We were able to get him to a vet and he has a broken leg and he’s going septic so we had to do the humane thing and let him go. 😢 He’s way too young for surgery and we couldn’t save him. This is the hardest part of rescue and it’s heartbreaking he has been suffering for a while now.

We have partnered with Let Love Live Rescue and they will be taking these babies into their care. If you can donate towards their care and today’s medical bill we would greatly appreciate your help. If any additional funds are secured we will donate to LLL. Thank you to our friends at Let Love Live for all you do!!! Thank you to Susy, Crystal, Devvie and Taylor Vet Clinic for helping us save all we could. ❤️ 🐶

These pups or Dixie will never know hunger, cold, or survival struggles. Their new lives will be full of love and care—thanks to your support.

Special thanks to Let Love Live for agreeing to take these babies into their rescue. Appreciate the teamwork & for rescues working together Thanks to Colby who is the ACO that reached out for help.
