Congratulations Rex! on winning Carver Canines February 2025 “Dog of the Month!” Rex loves to wrestle (he gets along great with literally EVERY dog), he will retrieve a ball for you all day if you’re willing to keep throwing it, when he’s finally exhausted he gives the best snuggles on the couch. Rex loves daycare, he is always so sad when the day is over. From all of us here at Carver Canines - we love you Rex and we are also sad when you have to go back home 🤣🥰🐕🐾💜

🚨 Foster Homes Needed for Dogs Displaced by LA Fires! 🚨

We’ve been given an opportunity to help dogs affected by the devastating LA fires, and we need your help! 💔 Our friends at the DoVE Project are working tirelessly to get displaced and stranded dogs into loving homes, and they’ve asked if Carver Scott Humane Society can step up and take in even one dog.

A cargo plane carrying up to 50 rescue dogs is set to arrive in Minnesota on February 15th, and a few small, local rescues are already stepping up. Now, we’re asking for fosters willing to open their hearts and homes to one of these dogs in need.

🐶 The dogs available for transport are 50+ lbs—there are no small dogs or puppies left.
🐕 All dogs have been tested with other dogs and people, though cat testing is limited due to the emergency situation.
✈️ We won’t be able to choose specific dogs, but you can request male or female.
🐾 Breeds are mostly mixed—think pitbull mixes, husky mixes, lab mixes, and golden mixes.

We know saying “yes” to a dog you haven’t seen or met can feel like a leap of faith, but these dogs have lost *everything* and need a safe place to land.

Had a blast welcoming in the new year with these beautiful babies!!

As we look forward to making 2025 the best year yet; we are starting a new tradition. At the beginning of each month a dog will be chosen as “dog of the month.” That dog will be displayed in a picture frame in our lobby, they will get one free day of doggy daycare to use that month and at the end of the month the owner gets to keep the picture frame of their super star! Stay tuned to see who the staff chose for January!
