Ruly has the most beautiful, dramatic eyes. She’s an energetic, fun loving girl who gets along with children and kitties.

Pet care provider Austin was called in to “tire her out PLEASE!” And, that he’s been doing. Her parents were displaced in the fire and are staying with friends so exhausting her has become that much more of an imperative!

That said, her parents would love to find a more suitable home life with a family that could use a guardian-loveball to entertain their children and protect the family. Let me know if you’d be interested in meeting this healthy girl.

Pet care provider Tim gave Bowie and Maddie a good walk/run today, tiring them out and giving pet mom an opportunity to avoid exposing her human babies to questionable air quality. Sooooo thankful to Tim ❤️❤️

A whirlwind trip to New York with my brothers would not have been complete without a visit to the AKC Museum of the Dog in Murray Hill.

There will be more photos included in a separate post but this exhibit required, nay demanded, its own post!

25 Marine War Dogs gave their lives in liberating Guam in 1944. They served as sentries, messengers, scouts. They explored caves, detected mines and b***y traps.

Given in their memory and on behalf of the surviving men of the 2nd and 3rd Marine War Dog platoons, many of whom owe their lives to the bravery and sacrifice of these gallant animals.

Feisty, scrappy, and tenacious ‘Tini is spearheading this year’s lineup of survivors.

2025 came in with a vengeance… OUCH! Toppling down what so many of us felt so safe and secure about. But, the one thing I’ve always been mystified about AND loved about people in general is The Triumph of the Human Spirit.

Our landscape has changed but our strength of will, our determination to NOT JUST survive but to rise above, and our love of beauty, nature and our families will be expressed in the most amazing ways.

Here’s to everyone navigating these troublesome days. May opportunities be many and obvious and the faith in yourself and in those going through this with you be strong and loving.

A HUGE shout out to pet care provider, Tamyra! Our clients had a last-minute tragedy that required a pet care provider NOW!
Tamyra dropped everything and hightailed it from near LAX to Pasadena in the middle of the night to take care of our sweet girl, Charlotte, providing comfort to Charlotte’s mom while she made the 7 hour trek from Arizona to be with her husband in the hospital.

It was a true team effort that involved multiple sitters to ensure Charlotte was cared for and mom could focus on the drive. So, another THANK YOU to pet care provider Austin who insured Tamyra had all the details needed to care for Charlotte and stayed on hand throughout the night.
