🐾 At what point do these “puppy yoga” brands admit what they really are?
Because it’s not wellness, community, mindfulness, or “helping puppies.”
It’s renting out litters from backyard breeders for profit…
so they can sell tickets. The fact that they say that these events are not set up to help breeders that’s a lie. This is advertisement for breeders…in every event.
Here’s what they don’t tell us:
❌ Where the puppies come from
❌ Licensing, vetting, or welfare standards
❌ Vaccination/age/handling protocols
❌ Information about the mother dogs or breeding frequency
The constant handling, overstimulation, bright lights, strangers passing them around — that’s not enrichment. That’s stress.
And the more people pay for these classes, the more dogs are bred to meet the demand.
Meanwhile, shelters and rescues are overflowing with puppies who actually need homes — but they don’t get invited to yoga mats because they don’t make someone money.
✨ If you love dogs, support adoption, not exploitation.
✨ Support responsible rescues, not puppy rentals.
✨ Support ethics over aesthetics.
Puppies aren’t props, content, merch, or marketing.
They’re living beings — and they deserve better. Just so you know when you buy a dog it’s called buying a dog!! It’s not called dog adoption….
