Friday afternoon right after camp we headed over to the show to kick off our show weekend with speed night at South Texas House Show Association. I love the teamwork and sense of community we share as the kids cheer each other on.

Winter Camp Day 3! We had a mix of English and western riding, baked horse treats, and after lunch played pony limbo!
Don’t forget parents- summer camp enrollment opened today and is already halfway full! Payment plans available.

There’s has been so many inquiries for summer pony camp 2025 that I am opening up registration TODAY, January 1, 2025.

🏆 This is year FIVE guys! If this is your kiddos fifth consecutive year of summer camp they will be eligible for a commemorative belt buckle.

📣 Summer Camp Registration is now open! Why so early? Because it fills up THAT fast y’all! This Summer I will only be doing THREE weeks of Pony Camp. When they’re booked, they’re booked.

💰 Due to limited spots this Summer, the deposit is $100 (the remaining $300 will be due on or before the first day of camp making $400 total per child)

🐴 Week 1 June 9-13
🐴 Week 2 June 16-20
🐴 Week 3 June 23-27

🌻8am-2pm
Monday through Thursday the children will start their day by feeding and caring for the horses, learning about tacking up, safety, and practice their riding skills. Students that are part of the level up program can work on those achievments as well. After lunch the kids complete an assignment out of their workbook and cool off in the pool. All instructors are CPR and First Aid certified.
Friday parents are welcome to stay and watch as we hold a gymkhana (games on horseback) for our campers to demonstrate their skills and compete for ribbons and trophies. This is a great opportunity for parents, grandparents, and friends to pull up a chair and watch all the hard work the kids have put in all week!

❤️Open to school age kids of all experience levels- kinder through age 18. We will match up kids according to age and ability.

Winter Camp Day 2
What a day! The kids spent the morning working around the barn, riding, playing polar express horseback, and doing arts and crafts. After lunch they took advantage of the beautiful weather and did some hobby horsing. We ended the day with letting their imaginations run wild with a horse wedding for Boone and Lacey.

Parents Day Out Day Camp was so much fun today with riding, crafts, Christmas movies, cookie baking, even a nap 🤣. I am so blessed to share my life with such a great group of kids.

The Spotted Pony Riding School’s lesson schedule is booked solid. I am not taking any new students at this time and have a waiting list for future lesson spots.

I do have two spots left for Winter Camp if anyone would like those.

The Spotted Pony had a long show weekend full of hard work, unforeseen challenges, teamwork, and countless wins. While winning and ribbons are always nice, it’s the good sportsmanship and work ethic that I am the most proud of.

We have our first graduate of The Spotted Pony Riding School Level Up Program. Zoey has put in hours of study, practice, and hard work to achieve each of these levels to earn the title of Schoolmaster. We have several students working on the final levels of the program and I look forward to seeing more graduate.

It was a howlin good time at the Halloween SpOoKtAcUlAr benefitting The Ain’t OK Corral, Inc. We raised some money to help get “MoonPie” back in good health. Thank you to everyone that came out and especially our judges and volunteers. The kids had a blast! 🎃
