Welcome everyone! This page is about my adventures as a dog walker and pet sitter!
I have been working in the medical field since I was 18 years old. During that time, I obtained my Bachelor's in Health care administration, became a certified medical assistant (CMA) and when I ended my healthcare career, I was a billing specialist.
My mental health was really getting to me, from tragic life events, being mentally exhausted all the time, stress from the job, so many things to do, and never enough time to stop and just relax. So I had to make a change.
I grew up on a farm. So I have LOVED and CARED for animals since I was a little girl. It was my grandfather's catfish farm. He had catfish, horses, donkeys, goats, cows, turkeys, chickens and even 2 peacocks. He also had 2 dogs and a barn cat. I absolutely loved being near and helping to take care of the animals. Even if I use to hate shoveling the stalls 🤣
I loved how they all had their own personality and how they would react when they seen me coming. It is a joy to see animals happy! Except for the turkeys! They were mean and would chase me!
So after a lot of praying and courage, I decided to start looking for jobs that work with animals. I applied for a variety of jobs working with dogs and was denied most of them; due to only having medical experience. I found a listing For Petbutler as a dog waste Technician. So I applied and received a callback and I got the job!
I have been with Pet Butler for a year now. We started our Petsitting and Dogwalking back in September. During that time, I was still cleaning yards and also petsitting. In March, I switched solely to the Petcare side of Pet Butler. I still help clean yards as needed, but I love being a sitter!
Hope you all enjoy my videos, pictures, and tips on dogs on this page!
