We’ve made some changes to our online presence and we have decided to shift over to Etsy from Shopify for now, and review what works best for us over the coming months 🐶

With Maya’s 1 year anniversary being yesterday, I wanted to recognise the impact of losing a pet and take some time to remember other animals that we have all lost over the years 🌈 🐶

In the first photo is Daisy, she was a 5 year old Bichon Frise and my very first dog. Sadly what we thought was epilepsy turned out to be a brain tumour and we lost her a lot earlier in her life than we should have. Daisy was bought for me after my grandad died, as we both loved animals & he had always said he would have loved to get me a puppy 💗

Next is Kato, the Pirate Pup. He was put to sleep age 7 after a long battle with cancer throughout his body. He would be 9 now❤️

Next, we have Bonnie, Blake and Ruby. All 3 pooches shared the same lovely dog mama & brought lots of love and joy into their family home 🤍

Last but certainly not least is Oscar. Your dog mama wants to thank you for the best 12 years, you were and always will her best friend and she misses and loves you always, every single day 🐾💙

Mama & me Mondays 💕

Here’s a photo from last weekend of me & Layla, my oldest little girl now 💕

Layla had always been my youngest until we got Lily & I’d always seen her as my little puppy still despite now being 8! It’s crazy to think that in a few months she will be the same age as Maya was when she died 😢

On this day, me and my sister decided to take the girls to the beach & then went to a local pub/restaurant that allows dogs. Now, this can often go terribly wrong and not be relaxing whatsoever as Layla likes to bark at every other dog in eyesight despite being the most soft, loveable girl ever 😂

We sat in a quiet corner with no other dogs, until a giant dog arrived with its owners & Layla immediately started barking and trying to lunge. Thankfully our breakfast arrived very shortly afterwards and we managed to wedge Layla between the two of us which helped keep her quiet 🤣

Does anyone else struggle with a reactive dogs? For anyone who can take their dogs to pubs/out for meals etc, I am majorly jealous 👏💗

I’ve been dog obsessed ever since I was a little girl and my parents brought home our first ever puppy, so when my partner finally agreed we could get our own dog Cooper really was a dream come true!

In my spare time I love to take Cooper on adventures with my partner Dave. I also love a holiday in the sun, socialising with friends and spending quality time with my family. My friends would probably describe me as the joker of the group, always being daft and making everyone laugh.

Happy Monday guys 💕👋

Bit of an honest post here… running and growing a small business at the same time as working full time is hard, very hard! 🥵

I’ve recently been on holiday & we’re also in the process of moving house, trying to make time for myself and having a social life! 🙈

I have never been a social media gal & I really do find posting often & coming up with content really difficult & as well as this, we’ve been so quiet with orders recently that I’ve been finding it sooo demotivating and have found myself hiding away from this account and being reluctant to even come on here and check my notifications never mind posting 😓

I really need to get back into the swing of things and give myself a kick up the arse & find the motivation and drive that I had when I first launched Mucky Paws by Maya 💪
