Help us name these little nuggets! 🐈🐈‍⬛

These little one have been rescued recently and haven’t been named yet. They are 3 males (photo 1-3) and 1 female (photo 4). Do you have the perfect name for them? Then let us know!

How it works:
🐾 choose the kitten you want to name (1-4)
🐾 send us your name suggestion with a £1 donation via PayPal (please use [email protected] as recipient and select the friends & family option)
🐾 add the name and photo number in the payment reference (3.g. 4: Lilly)
🐾 in 2 weeks we’ll be sharing the names that won

Please only send one name suggestion per donation. If you want to send different suggestions, multiple donations are required. We are closing the contest on the 23rd of May 2024 at midnight and will draw the names the week after.

B E A U

Approximately 1.5 years old

Initially nervous, he is in fact a giant cuddle bug, very gentle around humans and has a very therapeutic personality.

Taken in in very poor condition from an overcrowded space, he has now grown in confidence and is ready for his new home.

OK With children.

Beau needs a garden as he will make a fearsome hunter, we think.

Loves a good play session as well as being brushed. Mostly likes to follow humans around like a dog.

A M A Y A H

This little bundle of love is a very petite cat around 18months-2 years old. She loves human company and is equally playful and cuddly.

OK with children.

As she was rescued from an overcrowded environment she would be best as an only cat (maybe 1 other gentle cat) as she was bullied and overwhelmed by other cats before.

She has had at least one litter of kittens and so we growl she deserves full princess status.

‼️🚐 logistics help needed 🏢‼️

We are looking for someone with spare storage space (eg a garage, cellar, etc) to help us store a number of large cat travel crates while we work on sending them back out to our rescue centres abroad.

This is an ongoing need as we have cats coming in regularly and would like to dispatch boxes equally regularly.

As a bonus, if this volunteer had a car and the flexibility to drop items off at Heathrow and/or pick boxes up from West/Central London, this would be even better.

Or these volunteering positions could be separate.

DAISY

Playful and affectionate, pretty girl Daisy is READY for her new family and life as an only diva.

After a very tough start to life on the streets of Cyprus and being rescued from drowning at the shelter she was staying by a very lovely lady, she recently arrived into foster in London.

Daisy strongly dislikes sharing the spotlight with any other pet, but adores humans.

She is ok as an indoor-only cat or can have secure outdoor access too.

Spayed, neutered, vaccinated.

She is currently in foster in Vauxhall. Available immediately.

LUNA

This stunning girl has had an incredibly hard start to life, being rescued from the streets of Cyprus only to almost drown when the shelter she was in was flooded.

She was lucky to be pulled out just in time by an amazing lady who kept her safe thereafter before her trip to the UK.

Luna is shy at first but incredibly affectionate, sensitive and companionable once she has settled in.

She finds the presence of other cats incredibly stressful so would like a lovely calm home to share with her forever humans and would prefer not to join a household with any young children.

Can be indoor-only or with outdoor access (secure gardens/patios only)

Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped

Meredith was rescued from a hoarder home in North London along with some of her kittens.

She is a young cat with an elegant demeanour and will make an incredible companion, as she has the personality to form a deep connection with her human.

Because of her background, Meredith is no longer willing to share her space and so would lovely to be someone’s only princess.

Spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Can be indoor-only or outdoor access to safe garden space.

Currently in foster in Battersea, available from 15th Feb.

Holly update:
About 4 weeks after she gave birth, we had to take her back to the vet as she suddenly developed some very bad gut issues and it started affecting her physcial recovery and parenting skills. We tried many different treatments but nothing worked. So we had to run stool samples and full bloods, which showed a major deficiency in B12 as well as a nasty virus. She’s now taking supplements and is on an ongoing treatment plan. Luckily we already noticed an improvement and she’s back to her cuddly, chatty self.

We are incredibly grateful to .vets Fulham for helping us get to the bottom of Holly’s health issues, and allowing us a bit of time to fundraise for her because as a small rescue, we entirely rely on your generosity to cover our outgoings - we don’t want any cat to suffer or be unable to access the treatment they need, no matter their shape, colour or indeed, illness!

Please help us cover our outstanding bills at the vet so that we continue to help cats in need that are sadly abandonned and left to struggle, even here on the streets of London 🥹

We received a call yesterday from the brilliant team at Wolfe Vets about a young stray cat that had been handed in by a kind local lady, and would we take her?

So it was all hands on deck at Furry Ears HQ in Pimlico, organising a foster space with one our lovely foster homes, juggling transport options and more while POPPY was spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Less than 24h later and here she is throwing some shapes for the camera 😅

Yesterday evening we had a big scare! Little Maia was found very lethargic and largely unresponsive by her fosterers. They rushed her to the emergency vet where they found that her potassium levels were super low. So now she’s getting potassium, probiotics, and electrolytes added to her food and luckily she’s feeling my better. Bit rushing her to a vet out of hours is not cheap. Help us pay for her vet bill!
