Look at Toby’s happy dance, complete with new lions tail toy, after mat removal 🙌 My lion cuts are not “picture perfect” and only to cat tolerance.
From a welfare POV he’s mat free; I followed up on him the next day (its possible he could have seen his tail as a bit of an imposter and caused injury), but the novelty has worn off and he now has unlimited movement.😊

I love meeting the cats and try my best to help them. They may not always leave with a fabulous new haircut, nor feel they’ve been to a “spa”! But I do hope they feel relieved, comfortable and handled with consideration.
Some of the pics are a little “ouchy” to see, but they do demonstrate how kitty’s need help with grooming sometimes.
