Broccoli micros are making their return this week! Find them tomorrow .marketstand

These vibrant and tender shoots are fresh, earthy, and slightly peppery.

Toss them into salads, sprinkle them on top of sandwiches or wraps, blend them into smoothies, or use them as a garnish for your favorite dishes. Whatever you chose, you’ll be sure to add a pop of green goodness.

Pictured here is our new Kale Mix which consists of Russian Red and Lactino. They bring a mature kale flavour to the table. Earthy, slightly, and peppery. Toss them into a salad, sandwich, wrap, smoothie, or use as a garnish.

.marketstand is open for the season which means we’re ramping up production for the next couple weeks!

Sunflower sprouts will be replacing pea shoots for the next couple weeks as we test new mixes and blends.

We’ll be taking a little break in a few weeks with a new menu coming for the summer. More details to come.

BIG CRUNCH. a new mix looking to soon make its debut in the 2023 lineup. Consisting of buckwheat, sunflower, peas, and fava beans, this mix will surely add some flavour and volume to your saladS. Sweet, crisp, and light, just like spring.

We’ve been busy experimenting with a few new products. This week we’ll be harvesting some salad turnip micros! They’ve got a mild, sweet, and cabbage-like flavour.

New product! China Rose Radish.

If you think they look great with their poppin’ pink stems, you should give them a try. They’ve got an outstanding kick that's a great addition to a salad or on top of a sandwich. If you like radishes in your salads, you'll fall in love with these radish micros.

Getting back into the swing of planting after a little break. We’re planning on being back at .marketstand starting next Thursday/ Friday (October 6/7) with the full line up. We’ll be there the remainder of the year and transitioning to their home delivery system over the winter months.
We’ll also take the fall and winter months to try some new crops.

We’re back with the whole crew - arugula, pea shoots, spring mix, and sunflower sprouts. We’ll be set up all weekend or until gone!

While you’re at it, get some great produce from the market stand. Peaches, corn, and blueberries are here, and you can’t go wrong with some crisp lettuce.

We’re out of micros until Friday, but you can bet your bottom dollars these peas are showing up.

We’ve begun planting twice a week to bring fresh micros to the market stand fresh throughout the week.

Sunny days ahead (tomorrow)! Harvest has moved to Friday to bring fresher greens to at Canadian Tire. We’ll have lots of spring mix, sunflower sprouts, and a few containers of arugula. Pea shoots sold out until next week!

Hey y’all, its Tuesday and we’re staying open at Canadian Tire until 7pm… just in case you missed coming out due to today’s earlier rains.

We have lots of strawberries and asparagus, salad greens and more if you’re looking for savoury meal veggies or a sweet snack!

…and a shout out to Asparagus, it’s shortish season is fern-ally coming to an end this week. So LOAD UP if you want to blanche and freeze some spears for later on!
