My dearest team of judges I can’t thank you enough, you were all stupendous!!! Incredible!! I am so grateful to have you as my crew, it was tough yesterday, thank you for being patient, understanding hard working and adorable; we had so many competitors it was stretching our limits but you did it!

You were all incredible and all of this would not be possible without you! I had a very busy day at The Great British Truffle Festival today. Last minute changes saw me running the ‘Have A Go’ arena instead of judging. The pic shows just a few of the 32 teams who had fun finding real truffles and truffle oil. What a pleasure to teach and watch. Wishing them all the best in their continued Truffle searching journey 🍄

Scent Ops trials in the South 🏵️

Scentop 2x silver trial, Saturday 23rd November. Angmering, BN16 4HH.

In scentops you are able to work both bronze and silver or silver and gold at the same time without knocking yourself out of the other level. Silver is 2 hides and 5minutes but one of which may be inaccessible.

COMPETITION NEWS UPDATE

We are offering an Opportunity to compete with your dog at two different levels at the truffle hound competition for an extra £10.

This year we are giving you the opportunity to compete TWICE!

Whether that’s because you want to practice at the next level up or you just want more time with your awesome dog in the ring, book your second competition by 12th November the latest.

For example:

You have entered bronze, you may also enter silver.

If you have entered silver you may pick to enter at bronze OR gold as your second competition.

If you are entered at gold level, you may also compete at silver.

If you have previously won a level at the truffle dog champs, you may not compete at a lower level this year.

You cannot enter the same level again if you won

Bronze and Gold Scent Ops trials with Scentsational Scentwork….

Last call for entries for our double bronze and gold Scentops trial on Saturday 26th October. Both bronze’s will run in the morning with the gold taking place in the afternoon. If you would like to do both bronze classes please change the quantity at the top of the booking link to 2.

Running orders will go out on Tuesday so entries will shut 7am Tuesday morning (22nd)

Venue is Angmering, West Sussex, BN16 4HH. It is an fab indoor venue with heating so we will be working in the warm and dry regardless of the weather!

The most wonderful way to spend time with three very clever teams who took on Do More With Your Dog! Speciality title ‘Alphabet challenge’ and all passed with flying colours. They completed 26 tricks beginning with each letter of the alphabet. Fabulous work 👏🔠

Two of our teams competed today in the highest competing SWUK level and first ever L10 Trial. I’m incredibly proud of Richard Purnell and Ziggy who came second against some of the best Scentwork UK teams. The first Level 10 Team in the South of England. A huge achievement 🤩 Congratulations Team Ziggy 👏👏

My girls completed 26 tricks each and gained another title to their names.
I really like these Speciality Do More With Your Dog! Titles and I’m looking forward to our Tricks workshop next week when clever teams will work towards this title 🔠
