We here at Tigger's Dog Rescue. Are still looking for a DOG FREE FOSTER or ANOTHR RESCUE, that can help us to help Charz become a better dog. We have identified her issues, but we need to find her a quiet home where she can thrive and be happy.

Charz came into our care in 2023. Charz was beaten by her previous owner over a 6-month period. She was locked in her kennel for a good chunk of her time. She was tied to the kitchen chair every day when she wasn't in her kennel. Charz was only let go to the bathroom outside. She has never been walked or had a chance to interact with other dogs as a puppy.

Charz has her good days, as well as her bad days. We think it's due to her traumatic past. Charz will thrive better with a foster, who does not have any other dogs. She has come along the way in the rescue, but she needs more one on one attention. Charz was dealt a crappy hand in life and deserves nothing but love and compassion.

Charz is a 1-year-old Lab-Pitty Cross. Approx 65lbs and she is spayed and up to-date on her vaccinations. Loves to play ball, go for walks, cuddle and play in open spaces.

Good With Cat's✅
Great With Kids✅
Great for going for walks with a muzzle✅

Displays dominance and aggression with other dogs of any size❎
Hesitant with males at first but will warm up to them after a while when she starts to trust them.❎
Food Aggression with other dogs❎
She gets Anxiety when there is too many people in one room. ❎
But presents behavioral issues without a muzzle on when going for walks❎

We here at Tigger's Dog Rescue posted that due to not having enough foster's. That we are on an intake freeze. Despite this, we are still getting messages about helping dogs, puppies and pregnant dogs in desperate need of saving. In order for this to happen. We need at least 5 to 10 more people willing to become foster's for us, so we can say, yes, we will help. We are also in great need for pet free foster homes as well. Due to the growing intake requests and lack of fosters. Tigger's Dog Rescue is forced to make the tough decision and implement an "Intake Freeze" until such time, we get at least 5 to 10 more people to become foster's for Tigger's Dog Rescue.
As Directors, we know this sucks and we hate not being able to help those who need us the most. We deeply appoligie for this tough decision.😪

Hey Everyone!!! We are "2 Days Away" from this exciting fundraiser. So, come on down to Petland on August 10th, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for Tigger's Dog Rescue's 1st Annual "Plunge for Rescues" Charity Dunk Tank. This is where you can dunk our volunteer dunkie. Just for $5 bucks (you get 2 throws), and we will be having our "Dog for Dawgs" charity hot dog event. You get a yummy hot dog, a bag of chips, and a pop for $5 bucks! Plus, we will have some of our adoptable pooches there as well. The proceeds from this fundraiser. Will help with the veterinary care of our two new additions to our rescue.

Hi Everyone👋 My name is Hera (Queen of The Dogs) I am a 1-year-old Lab-Retriever-Whippet. I am a really fun-loving dog and I like to cuddle on the couch or on the bed. I love going for walks🚶🚶‍♀️ to the park, going to the outdoor rink with my foster daddy and playing fetch. Plus, I love going to Starbucks for a pup-cup. My foster daddy, calls me his "Rainbow in The Dark", a song by Dio. I love playing with kids👧, cats🐱 and other dogs🐶. The best part about me! I like catching mice🐭. Hello Everyone!! My name is Shadow. I am a 2-year-old Husky-Border Collie Cross. I love playing in the backyard, I'm still learning to play with toys. My foster parents👫 called their little trooper. I enjoy going for walks🚶🚶‍♀️ and car rides🚗. I get really excited when I see the rabbits🐰 and gophers🐹 in my neighbourhood. I like kids🧒 and cats🐱. Hi Everybody👋 My name is Evie. I am a Golden Lab-Pitty Cross. I am 1.5 years old. I have been in care of Tigger's Dog Rescue since I was 4 months old. My foster daddy said I'm his goofy goober🥸. He also calls me his little piggy🐷 and that's because my tail is curled like one and when I give kisses. I'll grunt like a piggy. I've had 5 applications and two home visits, but no one wanted to adopt me😢 I'm fun-loving and love giving kisses and hugs. I like playing fetch, going for car rides, going for walks and going to Milky Way for a pup-cup. I'm kennel trained, house-trained, spayed and UTD on my vaccination shots. I'm great with kids🧒cats🐱and other dogs🐶 I just want someone to give me a chance and love me🥰

Starting at 11:30am. With that, we will also be hosting our "Dogs for Dawgs" Charity Hot Dog event, and we will also be doing an adoption event just for kids! Kids, along with their parents. Hey Regina!!! Come and join Tigger's Dog Rescue at Petsmart, located at 2012 Aurora Blvd for their National Adoption Weekend. We will be there on July 20th, 2024 from 11:30am to 3:00pm, with our adorable and adoptable pooches.
