We miss these beauties so much! But we are so thankful we get to see pictures of them and see how well they are doing. 💕

*Fun fact: she was nicknamed Mrs. Piggy because she was the biggest newborn out of the litter and looked like a pot belly pig after every feeding.

Surprise! 🎉
Turns out all the pups are girls!! 😆

We re-checked their genders because we realized we only looked when they were first born and was hard to tell. Sure enough… five girl pups!

Also, all are feeding well and doubled their weight by the end of week 1. The boys are loving all the puppy snuggles and are huge helpers! I often find them just hanging out in the box with them. ❤️

We are all going to be a little heartbroken when these precious pups go to their forever homes.

Penny gave birth to 5 pups - 4 yellow girls (very light though) and 1 black boy. 💛💛💛💛🖤

They were all born September 2nd! First one came at 7:33pm and the last one barely made it on the same day, being born at 11:57pm.

They are absolutely precious and she’s being a wonderful mama! 😍

Penny is a 2 year old pure bred yellow lab and CKC registered. She was bred with Surge, or as the boys call him, ”Penny’s husband”. Surge is a 5 year old pure bred black lab, who is also CKC registered. As cliche as it sounds, they truly fell in love and hit it off from the start. They spent hours playing together and I was told once she left, Surge would howl every night (something he never did beforehand). It’s the cutest thing ever!! We are so excited to see their cute babies 😍
