Yesterday we were blessed by the sun coming out long enough to get some new pictures of Châzaq & Chava.
Direct/indirect natural sunlight. Very happy as
Châzaq is in his new skin, looking Amazing! And I hope I got a better shot of Chava's true colors.
Spent some time hanging out with these two was nice! Admiring their Beauty and letting my mind wander a bit about the potential of this pairing.
Absolutely Love both of them! Both are calm, but Chava she is a little bit harder to get a picture of... lol she's is curious girl for sure.

Wow, last minute prayer arrived Thursday afternoon... Hallelujah!!!
We beat the cold weather with this beautiful girl named Chava, slithering on into home!

One of my dream snakes!
I Love the Caramel Albinos, and Love the Caramel Glows. Which the difference is
adding Hypomelanistic gene to the Caramel Albino. That makes the Caramel Glow. A very beautiful double recessive animal.

When I found Sunny & Mika (double Hets for Caramel/Hypo) from CV Exotics Inc. this girl wasn't listed. It was months later I found her Posted:08/12/23 I fell in Love with her and checked Morph Market daily in hopes she was still there... 😅 same as I did with Châzaq!..

Chava is a Black Pastel Caramel Glow
She'll be paired with Châzaq our Orange Dream Hypo Het. Caramel Albino, when they are up to size. Super, Super Excited about this!

Very hard to capture her true beauty. With no natural sunlight in the forecast and low temps, this will have to do. I was playing with some different lightnings lol.

Back in Da day Eh! Wow! "Teenagers"
My first Boa, notice there is No feathers on this Boa... 😅 all bout da scales here eh!

She was supposed to be a Suriname Boa, that's what the lady at the pet shop said.
The pet trade wasn't what it is today, our local pet shop got her in for me. And it was not the baby snake I ordered. But she was so amazing I took her home anyway.
Unfortunately she was pretty beat up, she had scars, and was a wild caught snake! Full of mites!
But absolutely Beautiful! Rich tones of Mocha, Pinks and Purples, and that famous Red tail!
I still to this day never found or seen another like her.

Came across this little gem crossing the road on my bike ride yesterday.
Us locals call them Copperbellies!
This little beauty was kind enough to let me get close and take many pictures.

The Redbelly Sanke/Red-bellied Snake.
Scientific Name: Storeria occipitomaculata occipitomaculata
Size: 8 – 16” (adult total length)
Status: Locally common.

Habitat:
Deciduous or mixed forest and adjacent fields, pastures, marshes, and bogs. Prefer moist soils but will occupy drier sites. Can be found in urban or suburban areas under artificial cover objects.

Adult Coloration:
Brown, reddish brown, or gray with a typically bright red belly. Belly color can range from pink, orange or light yellow to gray or black (though darker colors rare). Back may be solid colored or have two or four thin dark stripes. Sometimes there is a faint light central stripe. Top of head dark brown or reddish, and chin and throat white. Usually light spot behind and below the eye and three light tan or yellow spots on the neck. Spots may merge to form light collar or may be altogether absent.

Juvenile Characteristics:
Newborns can be 2.8 – 4.3” in length and tend to be darker on the back and paler on the belly than adults.

Fresh skin on the Fresh Coast~

Judah is all nice and shed out, looking Amazing!
Well it was hot and sunny all day, until we decided to walk the beach. But it was still nice enough to enjoy the fresh air.

Met a nice size group of people, Judah got to showcase his beauty to many nice folks this evening.
Then the storm started to develop and it was time to go home.
Great evening sharing our testimony of the Lord, and some reptile education for the kid and adults.

First sunshine filled day in some time. Everyone just shed out, and they're showing off their new skin. Figured it's our chance to get out for a good stretch, and a nice walk.

*River our biggest girl. One of the original rescues and she got her name from the old church song... "I've got a River of Life"
I got a River of Life flowing out of me! She's a joyful girl since she got a second chance at Life 😊🐍
A big and beautiful normal phase female.

*Nilla 1 of the 4 original rescues, A beautiful morph to our best guess she is a Pastel, Cinnamon, Lesser. She got her name as she reminds us of vanilla wafers.

*Kahvi beans, another 1 of the 4 original rescues. A beautiful normal phase female. Her name came from her rich tones and some of the shapes in her natural alien head patterns looks like coffee beans.

*Ace a Handsome young male, a morph of 2 incomplete dominant genes, Spotnose, Yellow Belly.
He came to us from a breeder already named. Bit of a shy guy for now, but loves being out side in the sunshine. 😊

Finally got a day to catch up on my chores amen!
Hot and humid, and got caught in the pouring rain! Wow, it was amazing! Thunder and lightning, and I'm out having a good ole time! 😎 Love it!
Afterwards a 7.5 mile bike ride back to town, I came across these little cuties 😀 my first time finding these in the wild.
Meet the Eastern newt...
(Notophthalmus viridescens) they produce tetrodotoxin which make them not so tasty for predators. So beautiful, so thankful I got a chance to take some pictures!
They seemed to be enjoying the warmth of the road as it was drying after the hard rain, as the sun was shining on us again.

Here are the first two animals we fell in Love with after our rescues got set up and established.
And since one of the rescues was a morph, it kind of put a new perspective on what might come home next.

What could be better than a single gene Banana? A Banana, Cinnamon! He is gorgeous 😍
Well Paige he's just about everybody's favorite! We are so thankful to have him!

The second one is Enchi, Hypo. Which is pretty much found in many breeding projects so you can't go wrong with either gene!

Fruity pebbles is our only baby from '22 that is not Hypo or Het. for Hypo. Every one else is. But thankfully banana goes with everything we got. 😊
We all agreed on his name. As for Peaches, my daughter noticed her beautiful peach colored flames on her side. So that became an easy and fun name for us.
This combo will be a future breeding pair.

They are a beautiful little pair of powerhouses, genetically speaking! They are Triple Hets. Meaning they carry the genes for Candy Albino, Piebald, and Hypo.

My son came up with the name for the male, and I came upon the name for the girl.

Mojave is named after his actual morph phase called "Mojave" Never been a big fan of the morph, but I was so shocked and pleased when I pulled him out of the bag when he came home.

Moriah is a beautiful normal phase in appearance, but is still packing all the power being triple heterozygous for candy, hypo, and pied.
We can not wait for these two to get up to size, and we produce one of our first clutches of eggs 😊💜🐍

The one and only non Ball Python here @ PRRP.
Meet Judah, our beautiful Acrantophis dumerili, commonly known as Dumeril's boa. One of 4 boa species found in Madagascar.

Adults of A. dumerili usually grow to 6.5 feet (2 m) in total length (including tail) with the maximum reported to be 8 foot, 6 inches (259 cm). Males usually have longer skinnier tails, while females tend to be larger overall.

Habitat is along the western coast and southwestern regions of Madagascar, it is found in a semi-arid habitat that gets fairly low amounts of precipitation.

Judah was a rescue. Now very sweet, super chill, and loves to hangout! In the grass, on your shoulders, around my waist, or on my bed.
Needless to say Judah is thriving here with us 💜🐍

Hi, welcome to PRRP.
We are a small Faith based hobbyists/enthusiasts/soon to be breeders of "Python regius" the Royal, aka Ball Python. My children and I are on this journey together. What started off as a romantic idea, that turned into a prayer, and that morphed into a prayer being answered! Hallelujah! 🎉
Whole heartedly, I out loud spoke, dear Lord!
I expressed to Him that I wanted to step into this hobby. That I wanted a snake for me, and one for each of the kids. But just not any snake, as I knew morphs are a big thing. So I day dreamed, prayed, and wondered how I'd make this happen. Not being able to just go all out and just let the kids pick out whatever their hearts desired. But still wanting to give them a choice to see something special about the individual animals.
And one day a friend sent me a message, asking if I still was involved with exotic pets.
As she knew years ago I was. As she explained there was abandoned reptiles in the county. The animal rescue can only really deal with cats and dogs, maybe horses. They are not equipped to deal with reptiles. So the next step would be that the Sheriff's Department would reach out and we'd go from there.
So I agreed to go and investigate the situation. I remember that evening it was 46°F and the animals were left in the garage. The new owners of the home were scared of them and had someone throw them out of the house.
But they were alive and healthy yet. So I adopted them. 1 adult Dumerils Boa, and 3 Royal Pythons/Ball Pythons. Oh and the bonus feature was a beautiful Leopard Gecko.
The kiddos named Spots.
I knew in my heart that they had to be Ball Pythons, and I could only hope that at least one of them could be a morph. And so to my surprise there was. Our Nilla what we believe to be a 3 gene animal. Pastel, Cinnamon, Lesser. A beautiful girl, sweet heart of an animal... Wow what a blessing!

So when the kids came from their mothers they were in for a surprise 4 snakes and gecko. An answer to prayer wow! How beautiful His timing was! I had all the extra reptile equipment from about 20 yrs ago. So we just stepped back into the hobby, and was gifted from the Lord beautiful healthy animals.
So now we handle our beloved pet snakes often. And now summer is upon us to enjoy the sunshine with them, and take up the educational moments with anyone with 2 legs who is interested in meeting these beautiful creatures.
Every night we watch reptile videos, and Bible stories before bed amen. We can't get enough Amen!
