My Great Dane, Wilma, with some of my fosters
This is my absolute favorite video of my Great Dane, Wilma, meeting one of my foster cats for the 1st time.
Anderson was so outgoing! I started recording the minute I let Anderson into the hallway.
I’ve not had a cat since him who immediately took to my dog like that.
So this is what they do when I’m not in the room
Enrichment idea: Squeaky and Pierre enjoyed digging for treats!

Pew Pew is available for adoption through Friends of Feline Urban Rescue & Rehab near Easton, PA and is being fostered in Warren County, NJ.
Named for the sound of his meow as a kitten - like a little laser gun - Pew Pew is very affectionate and playful.
Background: In the summer of 2023, little Pew Pew was placed with another singleton kitten in a loving foster home. They became fast friends and learned to be cats together. They got along great with each other and the resident cats in the home, where they had free reign of the house.
First Foster Home: Pew Pew lived in his first foster home from then until mid-January. His foster dad said of his time there: Pew Pew is possibly the most cuddly cat - he loves cuddling and being petted. He will give head bonks to show he wants attention and affection. He wants to know what you are doing at all times. Pew Pew loves trying to play with everything and testing the gravity of objects. He is amazed at water dripping from the faucet.
Current Foster Home: In mid-January 2024, he moved to a new foster home where he is confined to the foster room with several other cats. This was a HUGE change for Pew Pew and he was very scared and would constantly growl and go after the other cats for the first week.
Within 2 weeks, he had calmed down and was so much better! Even when he first arrived, he was immediately affectionate with his new foster mom and would purr, rub against things, and do head bonks.
Other cats: Pew Pew had done great with the other cats in his first foster home. We expect he'll calm down here even more given time. Plus, considering that he's confined to a single room with several other cats, he's doing well. He will still swat them sometimes and want to wrestle because he is young and energetic. We will test him around the foster home’s dogs soon.
Fully vetted: He has
Cats should have access to multiple litterboxes.
Here Pew Pew joins Squeaky even though there’s a fresh box right next to him, plus 2 other boxes in the room. 😂

ENRICHMENT IDEAS
Cats can live a happy, fulfilling life indoors. It is important for their physical and mental wellbeing to provide lots of enrichment opportunities. You can buy or make items to keep them entertained.
Here are some of my current and former fosters demonstrating a few ideas we have had in the Sunshine Room.
