Wilma, my Great Dane, is the best dog with cats!
Here my new foster kitties meet her for the 1st time.
The kittens figured out they could go through the railing and downstairs so after retrieving them a few times, we called it a day.
But they did great being near her!
We are downstairs and thought we heard thunder, but it’s Cessna on the cat exercise wheel! I showed him how to use it yesterday and now he uses it by himself when I’m not in the room!
Yay, thanks again to my friend for giving it to my fosters!
✈️ Adopt Boeing & Cessna ✈️
These sweet brothers met my Great Dane for the 1st time today. Boeing loved Wilma! Cessna was cautiously curious.
The boys are 9 months old and fully vetted, having been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormer/flea treated, and even microchipped.
They are shy but warming up to people more and more. They now approach me to be petted, and when I do, they purr and “make biscuits”.
They’re very playful, of course!
And they love my other foster cats. And now I know how they are with my dog. I think they’d do well with any dog that is respectful of cats.
I’m fostering them in my home in Warren County, NJ for Friends of Feline Urban Rescue & Rehab. You can meet them here or at one of our events in Easton, PA.

Great info from post from Purr Haus, a unique cat boutique in Emmaus, PA that fosters and supports cat rescues like ours:
“This is your reminder to fill and change the filters in your cats’ water fountains and freshen up water bowls. In this heat, I like to toss a few ice cubes in the mix, which Harry loves to watch slowly melt, for some reason. Cats will drink more water if you serve it away from their food. Supposedly this is an evolutionary throwback to when they were hunters in the jungle and instinctively knew that dead prey could pollute their water source. The dry kibble most of us feed our cats is dehydrating, so clean fresh water is a must, especially in this heat. Air conditioning also dries the air in your home.”

Pew Pew is available for adoption through Friends of Feline Urban Rescue & Rehab near Easton, PA and is being fostered in Warren County, NJ.
Named for the sound of his meow as a kitten - like a little laser gun - Pew Pew is very affectionate and playful.
Background: In the summer of 2023, little Pew Pew was placed with another singleton kitten in a loving foster home. They became fast friends and learned to be cats together. They got along great with each other and the resident cats in the home, where they had free reign of the house.
First Foster Home: Pew Pew lived in his first foster home from then until mid-January. His foster dad said of his time there: Pew Pew is possibly the most cuddly cat - he loves cuddling and being petted. He will give head bonks to show he wants attention and affection. He wants to know what you are doing at all times. Pew Pew loves trying to play with everything and testing the gravity of objects. He is amazed at water dripping from the faucet.
Current Foster Home: In mid-January 2024, he moved to a new foster home where he is confined to the foster room with several other cats. This was a HUGE change for Pew Pew and he was very scared and would constantly growl and go after the other cats for the first week.
Within 2 weeks, he had calmed down and was so much better! Even when he first arrived, he was immediately affectionate with his new foster mom and would purr, rub against things, and do head bonks.
Other cats: Pew Pew had done great with the other cats in his first foster home. We expect he'll calm down here even more given time. Plus, considering that he's confined to a single room with several other cats, he's doing well. He will still swat them sometimes and want to wrestle because he is young and energetic. We will test him around the foster home’s dogs soon.
Fully vetted: He has
