Kiwano or horned melons. I've tried them before but never managed to get them to fruit.

This year they have fruited well but it's too late in the season for them to ripen.

I've put them in the fruit bowl in the hope they may colour up but I'm not counting on it happening.

Even so, they make a funky arrangement.
