Romeo and Juliet
Allow us to formally introduce you to the Romeo and Juliet litter. If you remember, three weeks ago yesterday, our shih tzu puppy mill surrender Tzuzie had a surprise litter of puppies. Pictured here are four of her babies; Romeo, Juliet, Gregory, and Montague. We are sad to say that her fifth pup, Abram didn't make it. These four pups are thriving in their foster home. They are getting more and more mobile by the day!

This $5 Friday we would like to introduce you to 6 week old English Bulldog Layken! She was born with a cleft palate and has been with our neonatal specialist since that day. She is getting stronger every day and we love watching her grow!
Tonight, our sweet Falco is facing a critical health crisis, requiring urgent medical attention at the Veterinary Medical Center of Central New York. She and her foster are on an hour and a half drive there now, She's been a member of our rescue family since the end of July, undergoing necessary procedures such as spaying, dental work, and numerous lab tests. Her condition worsened last week, and she took a sudden turn for the worse today while we awaited lab results. With symptoms including a high temperature, difficulty standing, labored breathing, bloody bowel movements, and vomiting, it's clear she needs immediate intervention.
Despite seeking help at Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services, it became evident that Falco's needs surpassed what they could provide. Unfortunately, Orchard Park was unable to accommodate her, leading us to swiftly make the journey to Syracuse alongside her dedicated foster. As Falco battles through this ordeal, we ask for your kind thoughts and support for this resilient 3-year-old Maltese, who only discovered love and care last summer. Your donations will help cover the extensive medical expenses and ensure Falco receives the best possible care during this challenging time. Thank you for standing by us as we navigate this difficult journey with our beloved companion.
