Puppy visit scheduled for May 8th!! Providing all goes well all puppies will be ready to go home either that evening or the 9th! Vet check summary will be emailed as they send me them. This usually only takes a day or two.

So it’s been crazy busy around the DeWalt house and the puppies re growing like little weeds!! There is also obvious gray showing up on big girl (green collar until she removed it). She is also right at 13oz!! They have almost doubled their birth weights! Tine for picture overload!!

Puppy update!!
Not even a week old and we are already starting to see a hint of personality. They are all completely comfortable being held and loved on. They fall asleep in your hands. They are growing well and I have posted weights below. I put their birth weight and today’s measurement.
Anyone know the baby they want yet? They’re all so precious how do you ever choose?!
Black/white-purple collar 5.7oz to 8.3oz
Pink collar - 5oz to 7.6oz
Green collar - 6.4oz - 9.8oz
Blue collar - 5.2oz - 7.2oz
Purple collar likes to sleep away from the bunch but is also perfectly comfortable cuddling too. Pink collar sleeps with her mouth open and it’s so cute! Green collar is just chill and seems to not care about much as long as she’s fed and warm. Blue collar likes to be close. She actually whines if she is separated until you hold her or put her with her sisters.
If you start to get an idea of which baby you want then please make it known! Only baby that’s claimed is the black/white one.

Puppy update!! Each baby has a “collar” now to tell them apart. They are growing like crazy!!
Purple collar (black/white) - 6.8 oz
Pink collar - 6.1 oz
Green collar - 7.9 oz
Blue collar - 5.9 oz
You can also already begin to see that some are going to have the shih tzu smush face. I can’t wait to see how they continue to change!

If at any point you decide you do not want one of these babies, please let me know! I have a waiting list so I’m sure the next in line would love one!
I usually give the first couple weeks for people to decide. A lot goes into having a new family member!
At 2 weeks (March 28) I will start taking deposits. There is a $100 no refundable deposit to reserve your baby at that time. After that, no other money is due until you pick up your baby. The deposit is used to assist in their care and vet checks for the first 8 weeks.
I will completely understand if someone decides to not get one and there will be no hard feelings.
This will be our last litter unless the vet advises us it would be okay later. Mom is getting past her prime and she is my baby, and I have to do what is right for her.

We have puppies!! All females!

Still waiting! She’s been lounging around and doing a lot of whining lately. You can feel the babies moving like crazy when you put your hand on her side or belly. I’m going to be surprised if we make it past the weekend, but as we know, babies come when they’re ready!

This is the position we have been in for about an hour now. She is starting to be clingy to me which was a sign last time about a day or two before puppies were whelped. She usually sits on the back of the couch by my head. Not today. Today, once I got home from work she has been with me. She is napping off and on while on me. I can feel littles wiggling against my leg as she relaxes for now.
I don’t know for certain, but I don’t think it’ll be much longer.

A girl and her dog. Meet Bentley, the male in the bunch. He is a lovable little thing. This is a regular occurrence in our house. She sits down and he goes to her. She lies down and he is right there with her. He is spoiled and she is his person.
We got Bentley at a time when she swore she was a cat person. Her cat had to leave us and her birthday was coming up. He was her surprise for her birthday. Her sister and I picked him up and brought him home. She came home to find Bentley...a small ball of fluff at the time. They loved each other instantly and there is no doubt who he belongs to. While he will take attention from anyone, if she walks in the room he goes straight to her.

With puppies on the way this is the easiest way to keep everyone updated.
We are expecting 4 puppies some point in the next week, maybe 2. This is our 2nd litter. Puppies are shipoos which are a mixed of a toy poodle and a shih tzu. As adults they are usually anywhere from 8 to 12 pounds. When babies go to their forever home they are vet checked, first shots done and at least one round of deworming done. The mom is my baby so this may be her last litter. I don’t want to strain her little body too much. We are looking at $600 providing the babies are healthy and check out well at the vet.
