- Yes, like humans, dogs have eyelashes to protect their eyes from small particles like dust and debris. When a dog's playing in the dirt, sniffing the grass, or even just hanging out, their eyelashes are working overtime to keep little specks from entering the 👀.

- Be sure that your pet has an up to date ID tag on its collar

- Leave all doors and windows closed

- Leave pet inside in a secure room or crate

- Consider playing gentle music or using a thunder shirt

- Keep charcoal, sparklers, and glow sticks away from your pet

- Provide treats or a toy to help distract your pet throughout the evening

In addition to shedding year round, most dogs usually shed more in the spring and fall. During spring, dogs lose hair to lighten their outer coat in preparation for summer. In fall, they shed to make way for a warmer new undercoat for winter.

Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them and filling an emptiness we didn’t ever know we had. Shaffer (white) and Henry (black) are both very hard working service dogs, providing loving and professional care for their owners. ♥️

Remember the rule of thumb is: don't touch or distract him/her. This is because interacting with a dog that is working or training could put the other half of its team — it’s owner — in harm's way. 🐕‍🦺

This is Homie, I was told that he likes to dig his way out of his fence 😦. I prepared myself for an escape artist, no escaping on my watch. This little guy was the sweetest and slept the whole process. No way he could be a wreck at home! 😀
