This big stud muffin is Petey. Petey is a 3-4 yr old MN Pit Mix. He is a large boy at 90lbs, but a gentle giant. He enjoys lounging around, happy, and cuddly. Petey enjoys playing with other dogs but can get a little over excited at times. Petey does have food allergies and is on a special diet and medication for allergies, it is easily managed. Queenie - 8mth old FS Pit Mix, this little princess is fun loving and active, but also enjoys cuddling up in your lap. She believes she is a the perfect size to fit in your lap for her afternoon naps. She is a medium sized meatball who is approximately 50 lbs. She is an even mix of play and rest. Queenie is working hard on commands and cues and enjoys learning new things. She is crate trained and house broken.

Beauty - 4 yr old FS German Shepherd - Lg size 75 lbs
This girl has been putting in the work. Once very shy and reserved is now a social butterfly. She enjoys meeting new people and is as laid back as they come. She will be playful with some dogs, but is not thrilled with overly playful dogs. She is smart and knows basic commands and markers. Not interested in playing with toys, but loves attention. She is crate trained and house broken and ready for a home of her own.

Heaven - 3 yr old FS Pit Mix - Med/Lg Size approx 65 lbs
Heaven is currently our longest resident in our program, and we don't know why. She is a super sweetie, has a great recall, smart and eager to please. She is working on out command as she gets really excited about toys. She doesn't understand her size or strength and would be best suited in a home with no small children or cats. Her favorite toys are chew bones and flirt pole. She is crate trained, and house broken.

Wilson - 2 yr old Lab Mix - Medium Size (approx. 40 lbs)
Wilson is shy at first, but sweet and lovable once he warms up. He is working on his confidence in new environments and loves chewing on bones.

ADOPTED! Say Cheese...now wait this is Ham! Cuz look at that face 😍 ok I know he's missing some hair, but it's coming back! Ham was found with little to no hair but as happy as can be, he's on the road to recovery medically l, with no long term damage and we are enjoying watching his hair come in. He is ready for his next journey in life finding his forever home!
Ham is a 8 mth old, MN, Collie mix, approximately 35 # He is easy keeper, loves to run and play. Wonderful on leash. Favorite activity is rolling around in the grass. He is crate trained, good with other dogs, unknown with cats, but again easy going don't believe he would have an issue.

New girl on the block!

Everyone meet Queenie! Queenie is a FS, 8mth old pit mix who is full of life and wonder. She is currently about 40 lbs, pictures make her look larger than life, but she's actually good medium to large sized pup. Queenie is an active pup who likes to explore, sometimes with her mouth, but has been excelling in class with progression. Queen came from a bad situation, wasn't treated well, so our primary focus was trust and learning how to be a puppy again, and less worries of if she was going to get fed again. She is enjoying the play yard and learning basic commands. She is crate trained.

It is recommended she live in a home with older children or proper management while she continues to learn and grow. Unknown exposure to cats.

The newest arrival to the program, here's Cooper!

Cooper has grown up in rescue and entered the program to solidify his training. His handler reports he's very smart and picking up on his new commands quickly! He gets along with most other dogs, he's good with cats, and he could do well with children too. He's potty and crate trained, fully vetted, he's about 6 months old and we were told Australian Shepherd/Husky mix.

Bonnie & Clyde - 5 mth old FS and MN Pitt Mixes, don't let the pictures fool ya these too are two tiny tanks along short in stature they are dense little meatballs but oh so sweet! Despite their start at life being abandoned with their dad, covered in mange, they have found their way to health, love, and direction with EARS. With a clean bill of health, new coat has grown back and they are growing into some amazing pups. As true brother and sister they have very opposite personalities. Clyde is more of the quiet intellectual type, sits nicely waiting to be petted, quiet, gently plays with toys of all varieties. Bonnie on the other hand is a sassy smarty pants, who loves to come barreling in for love and snuggles. She loves to rip apart toys, and prefers hard chew toys. She is doing well with commands and playing ball. They are spayed and neutered, crate and potty trained.
Either would be a great addition to the family, what's your preferred flavor of sour patch kid, sweet or sour 🐾

Ms. Robinson aka Diamond - 6yr old FS Cattle Dog Mix. We don't know what her story was before coming to us, but we know she didn't have it easy. She had mange, most of her front teeth are missing, and she was underweight; despite all of this Diamond is as sweet as pie. She has herding dog tendencies and can be pushy with other dogs and all small things (dog selective, no cats). She would be an excellent companion exploring new worlds as she is environmentally sound and takes new places and people in stride. Diamond is food motivated and likes to play with toys, she is crate and house trained. She has put on healthy weight, cleared from the doctor, and a good coat on her now so she is cleared for greener pastures.

Ms. Robinson - 6yr old FS Cattle Dog mix
Shout out to our geriatric girl Ms. Robinson, affectionately called Diamond in the program, not only because of the diamond shaped mark on her head but because the participants truly believe she is a diamond in the RUFF. She is excelling at obedience! Easy to lure and loves to play. Even at her age she enjoys the active life. She walks well on leash. She is unknown with cats and can be pushy with other dogs so a meet would be required.

Remus - 2-3 yr old MN Hound/GSP Mix
Remus has been looking high and low for his family! He has been in foster for over a year, and at no fault of his own. We brought Remus to the program in November to help show others what a good boy he is. He is crate trained and knows basic commands. He is good with other dogs. He enjoys long walks and a good nap to follow. Remus would love an adventurous family where he can spend time indoors and outdoors.
Our wonderful community partners want to see Remus find his home too and have sponsored him for the month of February!
